The Goodfic Bin

The land of Equestria has reached a new age of prosperity. Following what could only be described as a technological revolution, poverty and disease are now almost non-existent and ponykind has begun to reach outwards into the solar system around them. However with every step forward, the risk of disaster becomes ever greater, and in the new age of technology the use of magic is becoming more and more redundant. Every day ponies cry out for help, desperate for somepony to answer.

The increasing frustration over the ever growing death count causes Princess Celestia to turn to her once student turned fellow princess Twilight Sparkle for a solution. What they come up with is nothing like anything she could have anticipated, but infinitely better.

Twilight makes contact with her old Ponyville friends, the once-guardians of the Elements of Harmony, taking them to an uncharted island where a base of operations is constructed. The base for an organisation the likes of which has nopony has ever seen before.

Equestrial Rescue.

But what is it that sets them apart from conventional means of rescue? Their machines. Five state-of-the-art rescue craft, technological marvels created for the sole purpose of saving the lives of ponies in need.

Crossover with the hit 1960's TV show Thunderbirds, which is the property of the Gerry Anderson Legacy and ITV Studios. You don't need to watch any episodes of the show before reading this, but some inside jokes and references may go over your head if you choose not to. It's a great show though, so give it a try. You won't regret it.

Adam Inns has always been a simple man. For him, whiling his days away in a log cabin with a good book and a good view is a life well spent, no matter which planet he inhabits. But one day, after a misunderstanding with a Royal Guard gets Celestia involved, she decides to have a little fun at Adam's expense, and he suddenly finds himself as the proud owner and sovereign of a brand-new country, his to do with as he pleases.

However, the joke slowly finds a life of its own, as the poor and outcast find themselves on Inns' doorstep, with nowhere else to go and little reason to love Equestria. As the new state begins to grow into its own, Adam discovers that the calculus of rulership is not as forgiving as he once thought - and as the Equestrian system shudders under the weight of a thousand years of status quo coming to an abrupt end, his newfound convictions soon put him on a collision course with his friend, Celestia... a course neither may be willing to correct.

Can harmony and friendship really prevail against cold, hard realpolitik?

Gabby Gums, a popular gossiper in Ponyville that everyone loves to read, now hates. Going in-depth with gossiping ponies in town and invading privacy. From wanting more of Gabby Gums to rejection. With the CMC exposed and Diamond Tiara blackmailing the trio, there are only a few options Sweetie Belle, Apple Bloom, and Scootaloo can come up with.

After being ridiculed, humiliated and bullied for the Gabby Gums incident, Applebloom, Sweetie Belle, and Scootaloo run away from the town called Ponyville. They run as far away as they possibly can before ending up in the Badlands. While there, the three plan their revenge while the ponies of Ponyville want to apologise after finding out the truth.

Set only a week after the banishment of Princess Luna to the moon, the realm of Equestria is in a state of upheaval. Celestia's royal guard attempt to regain control over the vast empire once ruled by dual monarchs, and the young alicorn's actions as a ruler have become a subject of scrutiny after her sister's attempted coup. Two factions have risen in the turmoil: The Knights of the Sun and The Bright Moon.

Far away from the political infighting and sword rattling exists a small mining town on the outskirts of Equestrian territory. Where once the royal guard would have no trouble fending off raids from bandits or other criminals, the panic of the capitol has caused a withdrawal of military forces to more essential cities and trading ports. Completely undefended and without a spell or sword amongst them, this town was soon overrun by a band of bi-pedal canines calling themselves the Diamond Dogs. As brutal as they are lazy, the Diamond Dogs have forced the local population to work until collapse to collect gems from the town mine.

Outraged by his inability to fend off these bandits and thieves, a young unicorn named Bone Marrow tries with all of his might to find his purpose in life - his cutie mark - and hopes that it will be enough to drive off the invaders of his home. He will soon discover that his special talent is far more than he bargained for.

The clock is ticking. After being united in Canterlot's crystal mines, Twilight and Cadance, the real Cadance, must combat the threat of whatever infiltrated the alicorn's wedding, or risk losing not only Twilight's brother, but her friends, too. The solution will be difficult and the path fraught with danger, but with the power of love on their side, they can do anything. It will require a lot of love, though. Specifically, a love of bullets.

Canterlot... For centuries, Canterlot was the shining gem of Equestria, the pinnacle of pony society. Now, it’s a reminder, a bleak and monolithic warning to the world. 

Changed by the chemical and technological poisons that plague the mountain, an abomination of nature, I wander the greatest disaster Equestria has ever seen. 

... I will escape eventually, and when I do, I hope my friends still see me as Twilight Sparkle, and not the monster that hides among the ruins. 

Almost a year after what seemed to be the concluding battle in Celestia's great crusade against necromancers, something Mortem believes to be borderline discrimination, he discovers one of Celestia's armies setting up camp just outside his stronghold.

Not wanting to jump to any conclusions or risk angering the very powerful Princess, he concludes a diplomatic solution would be the best way forward. And so, he writes a letter.
