Pincer is a changeling, a proud soldier of Queen Chrysalis. After the failed invasion of Canterlot, he finds himself trapped and at the mercy of Princess Celestia's Royal Guard. Believing that Celestia sees his species as nothing but soulless monsters, he prepares himself for the worst. The weeks crawl by, marked by an endless series of questions he will not answer for fear of endangering his friends and family at The Hive. As his nerves wear down and his interrogators learn just how ruthless he thinks they are, they have nothing to report but his belief that they will kill and destroy his kind without mercy.

Celestia steps in to prove him wrong, and what Pincer learns leaves him questioning everything he has ever known — but also gives him hope for what he'd never thought possible.

Having lived under the crushing heel of abusive parents and extremely strict scholastic standards, the freedom to choose what to do and when to do it is something entirely new for Lily.

Despite Lily’s friends living in Ponyville, she would rather find her own place. A simple place she can set up a business as a proper Biomancer, serving medical, cosmetic, and utilitarian needs, all the while acquiring the one thing she never had but always wanted. A loving family.

She'll get that and more, but unfortunately for her, she chose to get those things in the Weirdness Magnet that is Ponyville.

For my fan’s convenience: This story takes place in an alternate timeline of the Equisverse. No storyline beyond that of The Bridesmaids, Horseshoes, Dinner at Ravenloft, The Queen is Dead, All Hail the Queen happens or will happen in this timeline. Severe thunderstorms are a commonality when living in a mountain fire lookout tower; an event that comes and goes with ease. However, when a storm takes a turn for the worse and causes the resident lookout to fall unconscious, the scene that greets him on awakening is about as unsettling and unwelcome as can be.

With his radios and cellular service cut off, Equestria's first human visitor is left to his own devices to figure out why he and his tower are now in the middle of an mysterious and dangerous forest. Well, at least the clouds still move on their own, that's a good thing, right?

While Celestia and Luna were the rulers of ponykind of many centuries, they were not the only alicorn leaders of their people's ancient past. Through the power of modern technology, they find a way to restore their father, Solaris, to be able to speak to them once more. As it turns out, this might not have been the best idea.
