Sunburst was the official crystaler. It was his job to help care for the young princess, and he had grown used to and even enjoyed the task. It was a pity, if one asked Flurry Heart, that he lacked a little trait that'd make him the best foalsitter.
After a "request" from Starlight, she and Sunburst are preparing a date for the weekend. As everypony knows, when those two ponies plan something, nothing ever goes awry.
Starlight Glimmer was having a pretty good morning until she discovered something that shook her to her very core: Apparently she's dating both of her best friends, and she's only finding this out on their first anniversary together.
Sunburst is hopelessly in love with Flash Sentry. Three hundred seventy five failed attempts later, Starlight and Twilight finally take the matter into their hooves.
As Rockhoof and Sunburst settle into domestic life in Ponyville, Rockhoof contemplates on what it meant to be a stallion in his time and in the present.
"Now for Trixie's greatest and most difficult trick, she will... she will attempt to beat cancer. Starlight, you'll be my assistant during this death-defying stunt, won't you?"
After a few months of consideration, Starlight comes to Twilight to request Cozy Glows release. Twilight agrees, although fear of how releasing one of Equestria's worst villainesses in the most turbulent of times causes her to hide the filly.
Trixie has finally gathered enough courage to ask Starlight to marry her, so she asks Sunburst to choose a ring for her proposal. However, Starlight has other plans in mind.
