Apparently people are turning into ponies, all over the world, and eventually, I became on of them. Luckily it wasn't an element of harmony, cause then I'd have to travel across the U.S to fight Discord. So basically I'm just trying to cope, and adjust to my new life as my favorite pony from the show. Initially intent to confront the Princesses for answers in New York, he (now she) changes plans after an incident where some members of an anti-pony hate group decide to go to far more extreme lengths to get their 'message' across. Deciding to fight back with a message of her own, Amethyst resurrects an heroic symbol from the series long gone but not forgotten...

Changing into a pony was one of those things I thought would never happen to me, like getting robbed or winning the lottery. I'm still waiting on the latter two, but the first... Well, it's not as awesome as it might have been, considering the circumstances.

Now I'm sharing a body with Lyra Heartstrings and I've got to find a way to get to New York. If something's going to go down, I'm going to be there for it. Nothing's going to stand in my way!

But it's strange, you know. The Lyra I got? Not really the Lyra I was expecting. What does it mean to be a background pony, anyway?
