Pleasant Trees is a forgotten place to most in the town. The most you'll hear about it is with rumors, meant to scare little kids. For all anyone knows, it's just a mental hospital. Though, for Richard, it also means Summer work, and being able to start paying off his student loans because it pays so well.

Besides, he doesn't mind working the night shift, so why wouldn't he apply?

This is a comment driven/discovery driven story. Every now and then, bios for different characters, or even places, will be brought up. There you can theorize and guess to the true nature of the subjects, and the discoveries you make there can help the main character make it through his career alright. However, understand that not everything may be as simple, or black and white, as you might think. These are not simply animatronics seeking to stuff you into a suit after all.

There is a war coming, and we need to be prepared

Cheshire is an orphan, or at least he was until Princess Celestia showed up at his orphanage home, requesting that all colts older than eight be sent to Canterlot to fight for the Canterlot army. Now, at just barely eight years old, the young colt must face a struggle that is known by many mares and stallions as terrifying and lonely: being different from everypony else. He is the only earth pony in the Canterlot army of powerful pegasi and wise unicorns. Will he break under pressure? Or will his one and only friend be able to help pull him through? And with an anonymous threat sent to Canterlot castle foretelling an age of darkness, will he be enough to save Equestria?

Most ponies imagine themselves being the hero or part of a big adventure. I however am not a fan of even leaving my house other than for work and food. My name is Iron Smoke, and I am a pegasus pony whom happens to be the local blacksmith in Ponyville.

Crying? The great Rainbow Dash crying? To most, the idea is unfathomable, to other the idea is possible, but to The Wonderbolts, it's no idea. Rainbow Dash was crying. She's been crying since it happened.

While she secluded herself from the hateful world, Rainbow begins to develop an odd sickness. Mornings spent throwing up. Fevers. And a whole slew of odd things.
