After the conclusion of "My Little Dashie", life goes on for the narrator and Dashie. They do indeed remember each other and all the time they shared, but how can Dashie let her daddy know this crucial fact? Long after Dashie has left his life, he decides to catch up on all the episodes he missed by cutting off when he adopted Dashie. As he watches, suspicion of her lasting memories grows on his part, while she attempts to find a way to communicate her situation to him. Pasts are revealed, shedding significant light on the circumstances of Dashie's adoption, and Dashie tries to throw in an on-screen hint that only he will grasp the true meaning of.

So, this is LONG overdue. I wrote this back in October, inspired both by the original story and by a picture by CSImadmax over on deviantART. However, I did not have a FIMFiction account at the time and merely posted the story on my deviantArt account as a link to the Google Doc that housed it (link if you don't believe me: http://amimizunofan22.deviantart.com/art/My-Little-Dashie-A-Moment-265671483). Nonetheless, I figured that posting it here would help spread it a bit more. So, without further ado, here is My Little Dashie: A Moment. I consider myself a lucky guy. Good job, good family, and best of all, really, really good friends. We call ourselves MMPD, and together we've had tons of crazy adventures, helped one another discover ourselves, and always have had a good time. It's a shame we've drifted apart since high school, but at least we get to see each other once a year on our shared birthdays.

That tradition turned out to be a lifesaver, because as my friends and I just found out… well, let’s just say we’ve known each other a lot longer than we thought. Now we’ve gotta find a way back home, and hopefully we won't drive each other nuts along the way. We know we’re not the big heroes, and we’re all in WAY over our heads, but hopefully we can do enough to make a difference in the end. If we can do that, then I know we’ll have made our families proud.

I just wish we still had our capes.

It’s unique from most transformation stories because the transformation itself is not really the point of the story. It’s the inciting incident that raises countless challenges that must be resolved. They are on earth, as a pony, and need to fix this before things get worse. Think about yourself in their hooves for a moment. How are you supposed to change back or even figure out what caused it in the first place? How are you supposed to get food or do anything on Earth without being spotted by humans? If you are spotted or captured, how would you escape? How does one even open a door with hooves!? Did anyone else on Earth get changed as well? How could you get the word out to the other ponies who are themselves hiding? Is it worth risking travel across the country to reach the others? Which of your friends would you trust to help you deal with this? And why did you turn into this particular pony? Surely it wasn’t random chance, right?

These challenges are the tip of the iceberg in this full length adventure novel There’s a lot of humor, many tense scenes, and hell maybe even a war.
