It is seventy-five years after the HLF and human intelligence services defeated the pony invasion of Earth. Celestia is a prisoner of mankind, reduced to being a source of magical blood used to make ponification potion. Ponification has become the punishment for even minor crimes. When I first read Mankind Triumphant it shook me to the bone. It scared me, it kept me awake, it affected me. When she invited others to submit stories around her New Universe scenarios, I knew I could not refuse. I felt this story calling to me. Resistance was futile. So here it is. This story is a sequel to Why No One Messes With Luna

Shepard has done the impossible. Old foes have set aside their differences, new friends have come into the fold, and the galaxy is more united than ever before. But the Reapers care not for the new alliances they face; they will fall, as countless civilizations before them fell. It is inevitable.

There is still hope. The Crucible, source of unimaginable power, has been constructed by the allies. With this new source of hope in tow, the allied fleets break through the Earth blockade and attempt to use this newfound weapon in a last, desperate attempt to defeat the Reapers and save the galaxy as we know it. Fleets of all races, soldiers of every kind, are united in this final stand.

This is but the smallest part of the truth, for I was not born a pony but on another world, and brought here by Princess Celestia on a mission to save my race. Get a front-row seat in his brain for the Long Version, as he wracks it trying to weasel out of being a pony, or at least not let anything slip by as he takes it one freaky moment at a time.

What will the other lost-weekenders think when they walk in on him passed out on their couch? Will he be able to get through the city and at least back to his apartment, if not to normal? Will he learn anything about REAL friendship along the way and stop being such an insufferable hipster? What if some blowhard fan author just couldn't “turn it off” and ended up trying to write a pony story as actual sci-fi? Will Ahuizotl get the statue? Does P=NPony? Your standard pony Trip Report, with your standard pseudo-autobiographical narrator, written to flush out my creative plumbing and play around with, uh, like, good...thinkies and word-putting, and because the urge to do it just wouldn't leave me alone, so I just had to get it outta my system. I just really like the juxtaposition of humans and ponies, I guess.

Title is obviously a reference to M-Theory and Tristram Shandy, respectively. Because I can never pick just one thing.

Rated T for Adult Situations, gratuitous overthinking, and fuckloads of swearing. Oh and I guess drug use.

The ponies of Equestria know Harmony as not just an ideal, but as a force that actively shapes their existence. It guides them through their lives, brings them prosperity and ensures good will triumph over evil most of the time.

However, exposure to it can be unpredictable for those crossing over from other realms. Sufficiently long stays in Equestria can even lead to a change of form to one indigenous to the land.

And those unlucky enough to be slated to become a source of Harmony itself may find themselves unable to leave.

Translation: This fic contains the gradual transformation of a human (male) to a very young alicorn filly.
