Twilight Sparkle loves pie, a fact that was evidenced by her first visit to Sweet Apple Acres. In fact, she's been craving it ever since she gorged herself on it all those months ago when she first arrived in Ponyville. Luckily, her good and ever-generous friend Applejack happens to have quite a few apple pies stored in her barn for the upcoming sales week, so our favorite bookworm sneaks in to help herself to a slice. Not so luckily, it seems she's a bit hungrier than she first thought.

Be warned, this story contains stuffing. Why? 'Cause it's cute.

Something of a tribute to Flexico, the author of the adorable fanfic that drew me to the pony fandom in the first place.

Some accidents are small, and some endow you with the power of a godly ruler. On the opposite end of things, you lose your wings along with your ability to move celestial bodies, and you can't tell anypony. Why, because what would they think if the princess became a librarian? It's going to be "fine". Celestia just needs to switch back with Twilight before either of their true identities are revealed. I believed that I knew how the universe worked. That my purpose in life was to enjoy it to the fullest and not look back. Not a bad life if you ask me although it seems the universe had other plans. With all her new princess obligations, Twilight needs the support of her assistants more than ever. But since she started spending more time in Canterlot, Owlowiscious has seemed awfully distracted by something. Maybe Luna can help clear up why.

It has been one of the closest guarded secrets of Canterlot's royalty. Deep in a specially constructed dungeon, surrounded by warding spells and powerful magic barriers, exists an enigma. Within a cage that could only be described as something out of a nightmare, it waits and watches all of Equestria. A creature that cannot age, is immune to disease, does not thirst nor hunger, and resists all injury. But, it also holds secrets and knowledge that could safeguard the kingdom. Its powers are frightening, but it is civil enough for debate when patience permits.

Princess Celestia has sought counsel with the creature before, enduring it making deal after deal for its services. The Princess walks a fine line when dealing with it, knowing full well anything could give it an advantage despite its imprisonment. She has had to go back on her word in these dealings, and from this a deep animosity between them has been born. It is a necessary evil as she is convinced this is a being capable of untold evil far and above anything Equestria has ever dreamed of. So long as it remains within the confines of its cell, her kingdom is made safe. So much magic has been woven to ensure that, there is little chance of escape.

So long as the magic holds, there is no danger. So long as the cage remains strong, the nameless creature stays enthralled in his cavernous dwelling. If that were to change--if the magic failed--not even the wisest could say. But one thing is assured, it does not bode well for Equestria.
