Do they have any special power? Or just wings? Wiki said they can fly fast but that's about it. At this point, normal MLP pegasi can do much more than the best of them. If they at least have something like in Yellow Tanabe's Birdmen, it should be interesting.
It’s been a while since I’ve heard of maximum ride. I’ll have to check back when it’s got some meat on it’s bones.

You people haven't read the Maximum Ride books? Oh God, I feel old now.
The premise is basically test tube babys that they genetically modify and mix with various animals to varying degrees of horrifying success in "The Lab". Then they perform as many tests on the toddlers as possible usually ending up with the children dying because genetic modification. Max is part bird. That's about it. She's got wings, improved resperatory system, and hollow bones. She also needs hella caloric intake due to increased muscle mass from the wings etc. Basically human + wings and thats it.
Anyone who tries to chime in to correct me, make sure you aren't dumping spoilers for the series.

there are a total of 8 book's witch i have spent several hours today looking or and i have just found them in a box behind a hole bunch of boxes.
as i have not read this story yet i really don't ant to try to give even a base story line and passably give out spoilers.

Don't worry. I am not young (haven't been for a long time). It just that I didn't have much allowance to buy comics when I was young and mostly only Japanese manga made its way to where I lived. Beside Tintin (and few British's soccer comics), I didn't read any other non-Japanese manga at all.

2005 book? It was rather new. Seeing the cover image from the manga series, I thought it was from the 1980s. I mean its style kinda look like Macross which was pretty popular style back then. Nonetheless, it is a big no, no. I haven't read many novels or comics ever since I graduated.
