I saw Shelter. Its gorgeous and all that but I dont really see what all the hype is about.
That said, this story that you wrote. It does what Shelter tried for but does it and does it a hundred times better.

Interesting. Very interesting. I may be interpreting this wrong, but this feels like some kind of matrix that Celestia made for her so she could learn her lessons of friendship, as well as find inner peace via the tablet to control and experience the world around her.

In all honesty I think "inspired by" isn't quite accurate. It feels more like the same story just with another main character.
Anyway, the writing itself was good, it flowed nicely and made for a nice quick read.
Very good considering it wasn't edited. I wonder who attacked Equestria and why Celestia felt the need to protect Sunset from the fighting but no one else. Maybe she hadn't met Twilight yet but still, good story, hope Sunset can get back to Equestria soon.

Well given Sunset refers to a biped form a few times and it's not entirely clear if she ever went to the Equestria Girls world I think it was probably humans (or the Equestria Girls equivalent).
I love the video and really enjoyed this
