I really liked this. It was metaphysical and irreverent, especially to itself. And the use of the unreliable narrator method is highly effective.

I considered making an overt reference to Dan (obviously it is him who silenced Pinkie given what's going on with each character), but opted to leave out Discord mentioning him by name if only so readers who haven't read TW&TB weren't confused about what was going on.

You know, I do actually have a weird tendency to ship Fluttershy and Uncle Disco (Yes, I am still using it.) Its a weakness of character. I can just imagine what him waggling his eyebrows when he talked about being inside of everything. Filthy old goat.

Oddly enough, she was almost a "he" but then I realized everpony Discord had face to that point was male and that didn't seem to make a ton of sense. When Amethyst's gender got swapped she sort of went from crotchety old man to grumpy combination of Rarity and Twilight. You might notice her color scheme is basically the same as Rarity's.
I kinda humored the idea that she's a common ancestor of the pair.
