Discord is an old creature, far older than the planet he calls home, thankfully coming across it in its early days as the loneliness had nearly finished eating away at what sanity he had left in his mind. He'd been wandering around, avoiding a war that had been waging for countless eons all around him everywhere. But as the planet grew up and he frolicked around on it, playing games with its inhabitants he banished all thoughts of violence, minus the things happening under his careful watch.
But one night that all changed as he felt one of them, the beings that started the war, come into existence near the planet he calls home. The only question is the war over? Or is it just beginning again?
Takes place directly before Twilight's Kingdom.

As for the backstory of Santi you can be rest assured you'll get some along with his generals at a later date, hint at a little next chapter, but there's one main thing keeping the backstory from coming anytime soon. Hah! My story does the exact same! The only reason though is because I found it a lot easier and more fun to simply jump right into the character interaction. Gives the villains a better chance to be intimidating and the characters the chance to easier respond and converse with one another.
And just know that so long as you upload, I'll be here to comment about what's been written, whether it's insightful or not. And I won't sugarcoat what I find to be mediocre, cuz in the long run, all sugarcoating gets people is false hopes and more problems. I'll see you when I see you, Blitz!

One minor quibble besides the fact I still have no clue wtf is going (I am patient though and am willing to wait for it all to make sense.)
This doesn't really fit with his societies presumed tech level, they are a interstellar empire that apparently Discord may have fled in his younger days, they should not describe having electricity or movies as modern. Perhaps describe it as bits and pieces of post-industrial or 20th century or something tech and then contrast that with their otherwise seemingly medieval architecture and way of life.
