It depends on the scenario, in a medical sense then yes as you may feel fine but that could just be the eye of the storm so to say. Most other cases then no you aren't helping, you're being a pain in the arse.

Even the Mentally Ill can do a lot to refuse treatment and help, and the physically ill aren't obligated nearly as much.

When the silence section came I thought that it will be cut by a colony of batponies stalking Selena from the celling. That would explain the lack of floor movement. I wouldn't be supriced if Selena actually pranced though a few rooms filled with thestrals hanging out at the celling and not making a voice because the UberNurse told evrybatty that Da Moonborn doesn't want to be disturbed by noise from their cellar. So they did the opposite of Fus-Doh-Ra!!!

I'd almost call Celestia a helicopter mom. hovering about Selena's every walking moment. Her heart's in the right place but she really needs to dial back the overprotective nature a bit. Caddy had the right idea, stimulation for the mind and body. Laying about in a hospital bed with nothing to do can drive anyone stir-crazy. Without sight, that limits a lot of the typical activities one would associate with a room-trapped patient. I guess she could get a record player (or whatever they use)? Maybe something tactile, for hooves and magic, like modeling clay? I suppose with her mapping spell, a puzzle wouldn't be too difficult, although the resolution of the spell might not be enough for the small pieces.

Might need Cadance's help to escape the room and sneak out to the nearest garden/greenery while Celestia's busy at court. And if our little Moonborn mare gets morbidly curious, sneak her to an observation balcony at court so she can listen in on what Celestia deals with every day. Just make sure Celestia doesn't know...
