Okay, I'm not finding myself willing to believe that Twilight would go to, ah, gynecological examination so early in the physical exam, at least not before gathering fur and mane or tail clippings for study as well. Skipping straight from a blood draw to "gynecology" doesn't seem procedurally correct, or in concordance with Twilight's view of science (as expressed in DoH and DoH2 thus far).
However, pretty much everything else more than outweighs this. It's a good chapter overall, and the negative point expressed above is pretty easy to miss.
I expect all of the horse porn.

Dash, lacking any sense of decorum, bursts in just to make the entire situation completely embarrassing for both Dawn and Lyra. All the while dash is laughing at the situation and rubbing salt into the wound. Figuratively.

Yeha I had to come up with something better than "Meh, might as well frolick in the poison joke and bang Fluttershy." What I did come up with works well, both as a bump in his relationship and a setup to future problems when his choices catch up with him... :)
I do have so many ideas, some of them are gonna have to be non-canon (and I found a clever way to handle the Twilight one that leaves you wondering...)

Well, that's actually pretty awesome... not sure if Dash finding out *that* bluntly is in the cards (I do have an outline I'm trying, and moderately-succeeding, at sticking to.) It does sound hilarious, though. Dash would act like it was no big deal, mocking him and helping Lyra really pile on the embarassment... yet beneath the bravado, Dash would be heartbroken. She thought Dawn had something special with her or Fluttershy, and from the loosk of it, now he's just sleeping around like every other stallion....
