Freak. Half-breed. Abomination. He has heard them all. For years he has been ridiculed merely because of his heritage. But when he encounters a pony while wandering a forest to get away from the horrible names, he is surprised to find she is not frightened or afraid of who, of what he is. She offers him a place to stay in the nearby town swearing she will defend him from the inevitable taunts and jeers. Warily he accepts, and as he moves in he is surprised to find the town more accepting of his form then others. Slowly he feels something within him changes. A spark alights in his heart, the spark of friendship. This is his story.

From the day we're born we all have a destiny. For a pony, a destiny is literally emblazoned on their bodies. Sometimes your dream doesn't seem to match your mark, sometimes you have to find how it does, other times it just does.

For Kiwe, a zony colt in Manehattan, his dream is to be a world-renowned chef. But will life go as he wishes it or will his mark change his path like it has for so many others?

With help from his zebra mother and pony father, will he be able to accomplish his dreams, or will the challenges in the big city prove too much between bullies, friends, and the challenges of life?

Around ten years have passed since the final events of Tamed. A lone Pegasus, Fyreburst, meets with a mysterious contact about the whereabouts of a pony he lost many years ago. In his search, he meets up with a retired celebrity who quickly grows attached to his cause. The two search for answers as fate itself becomes their greatest friend...and their fiercest enemy.

DISCLAIMER: This is a sequel to Tamed so not having read it beforehand may leave some confusion concerning character behavior and plot elements. I would recommend reading the first story before continuing with this one.

Everypony remembers the civil war between the Solar Empire and The New Lunar Republic.

Yet a lot doesn't remember how it ended.

But the actions of two brothers from another land.

Humanity as a race has finally fallen and Earth has been purified. Equestria is now a stronger nation thanks for all it's new inhabitants, the newfoals, formerly humans before the purification of Earth.The celestial sisters rejoiced in their thrones, because they drove humanity to a new step of happines though the ponification and assimilation of all the humans into Equestria. Or so they thought.

Led by a mysterious stallion of indomitable will and resolution, far away of equestrian frontiers, a city stood defiant against Equestria itself as the last hope of humanity, maybe not humans anymore at the surface but at heart. With the last remnants of human knowledge inside the minds of the dwellers of this thriving city, will they be able to recover their identities and freedom? Or they are going to succumb against the problems of forming a independant state from Equestria?

A/N: This is my first shot at something as complex as The Conversion Bureau universe. I'll take mainly the original premise of this universe plus some adds from here and there, so you can look at it as a personal view about it.
Don't expect frequent updates on this, since I want to think each chapter. Anyway if this little thingy manages to be liked I can think about be more swift with the chapters, but I'm a very inconstant and tend to take far too time to write.
By the way, I hope you like this story!

While Twilight throws herself at unravelling a magical mystery, Luna and Rarity, with the help of a few of Celestia's hoof-picked elite guards, must fight to make peace with themselves before they can make peace with the past. Luna seeks to reconcile her relationship with Celestia, and Rarity must learn to overcome the harshest, most bitter, most devious enemy she has ever faced: herself.

Completed in it's entirety for the second time, Shades of Grey version 3 is the culmination out many hundreds of hours or work, both mine and that of the editors, teachers, pre-readers, and readers. It is the first story I conceived, and it's taken over two years to bring it to this final revision that I am happy with. This is a story I am proud to have written. For better or worse, it will always be a piece of me and vice versa.
