Octavia always dreamed of meeting the musical prodigy who inspired her to begin playing the cello. The only problem is the young composer vanished nearly seven years ago. With the help of a fashion tycoon expanding into the music industry and a DJ who rocketed to fame in recent years, Octavia may learn more about her idol than anyone before. Unfortunately secrets seem to have a way of complicating things.

They say you should never meet your heroes after all.

The story is generally the same. A group of ponies go on a quest to stop an insane alicorn who had escaped banishment, learning about friendship along the way and mastering the Elements of Harmony. But the details...

It can be Trixie Lulamoon leading the Elements of Harmony against Corona.
Rainbow Dash could be Celestia's student and go to Ponyville.
Equestria could have a deep connection to three young people in its distant past.
The Elements of Harmony could have been moved to Manehattan for the ponies to quest for.
Princess Cadance might rule over an Equestria of music, with Octavia as her prized protege.
Or Spike and Twilight might have their roles reversed, the former a stallion and the Element of Magic.

And each one has been chosen by Discord, an Element removed to a seventh Equestria for purposes as yet unknown. Can they survive? Can they get home? Read and find out!

Shady Sound has always been a fan of all kinds of music, from classical to dubstep. However, a certain cellist has grasped his undivided attention. One who is octaves beyond any other in terms of both music and beauty.

Octavia is used to having fans. When one rises above the others, what choice will she make in regards to his feelings for her?

Vinyl Scratch has been trying to get Octavia's attention for a while now. It's hard to get your feelings across sometimes when you're a deaf mute, and the cellist has been either ignoring or misinterpreting Vinyl's signals up until now.

Quite a lot of time has passed for the Mane Six, now everypony has got a life of their very own. Everypony except Spike. Forced by his circumstances, he's thrust into a night-time Ponyville he didn't know before and a certain gray mare will revive in him the passion for music. Relationships will be done and undone, as Princess Celestia seeks high and low for a show-stopping act at the Grand Galloping Gala.

It's Octavia and Vinyl's wedding day, three of Equestria's princesses will be in attendance, and things couldn't be better for the long-suffering couple. Of course, with it being Octavia's wedding day, it would be stranger if things went right.

After many years away from the rock farm, Pinkie Pie returns home to spend a month with her family. However, in all those years she has changed a lot, and probably so have her sisters. But, how much?

Will she be able to still see in them the ponies she spent her childhood with?

NOTE: This story was written far before Maud appeared for the first time. That means she is absent from this story, and the personalities of these Limestone and Marble Pie do not match canon.
