In an Alternate Equestria, Dazzling Sparkle (Twilight Sparkle) aspires to be the world's greatest Illusionist, while Gem (Rarity) wants to know everything about rocks. Both and several new friends will be thrown together on a quest to save Equestria from Nightmare Moon's reign as they search for the missing Elements of Harmony.

I can't describe this better than this: this is the best possible trollfic that I can write, and it's about Twilight Sparkle inventing a flying train, and what happens. Written in a hasty, slightly stilted narrative, spelling mistakes left uncorrected, story slapdashedly crafted as the inspiration came. It is a story of friendship, of adventure, and most importantly flying trains.

The day prophesied to be that of Sombra's return is nearing. The Cutie Map has sent Twilight and Rarity on a mission to Canterlot, and the two can't seem to find the problem. A mysterious force lurks in the background, trying to stop the purple alicorn. Time is quickly running out, and Rarity is the only one who can figure out what's happening and put a stop to it before it's too late,

Also, Celestia is a giant spider, but when you look at it that fact isn't really all that important in the scheme of things.

Apple Bloom is an undead ghoul, but that's OK. She's finally come to terms with her condition, and is determined to rise above her curse.

Sweetie Belle is a robot, but that's OK. With manual in hoof, she's prepared to learn everything she can about herself, and whatever the future holds.

Scootaloo is a changeling, but that's OK. Changelings are citizens now, and she's ready to do her part to show the world changelings can be friendly too.

Together, the three of them are getting by, one day at a time. They may never get their cutie marks, but that's not going to stop them from having fun, finding their talents, and maybe even going a week without causing massive amounts of property damage. Maybe.

Meanwhile, Babs Seed is still blissfully unaware of the unusual destiny that awaits her, Diamond Tiara is slowly finding her place in the world, and Ponyville is still the weirdest town in Equestria. But then again, what else is new?

Discord had done it. He had turned Ponyville into the Chaos Capitol of the World, the Mane Six were torn apart, and he was above it all. But then, that accursed letter was brought to Twilight, and all his hard work was unravelling by the second. That's right, he was dying. The Princesses knew they turned him to stone, but they didn't know that the nature of the Elements would poison a being of pure chaos. Well, before he had to pass on, the dying spirit transferred his essence and power to a host that was compatible with the magic of the Elements and Equestria's harmonic nature, and the host he chose, was none other than Twilight Sparkle herself.

Thankfully, Twilight is still herself (mostly), but can everyone cope with the new spirit of chaos being none other than the Element of Magic herself? And how would Twilight react to this?

Ganondorf, King of Thieves, Lord of Darkness, Master of Evil and Wielder of the Triforce of Power, had long since grown thoroughly and completely bored with the path the gods had decreed for his destiny.

Time after time it was always the same, try and unite the Triforce, plunge the world into darkness for a time, search out and then kidnap Princess Zelda, watch his minions be defeated one after another and then finally battle Link for supremacy. Rinse and repeat.

All the while knowing that regardless of winning or losing, that no matter what he did or didn’t do, that in the end everything would end up repeating itself in another time and place afterwards, again, and again and again, in an utterly pointless never ending cycle.

Having decided that enough was finally enough, and refusing to continue to be a simple pawn at the hands of the gods, he vowed he would find a way to escape from his cumbersome destiny, a way to start anew far beyond the meddling grasp of the gods, a way to reach a realm upon which he could be the master of his own fate.

And after years of careful planning he had finally succeeded.

Sure, the fact he had to drag the know-it-all Princess and the green obsessed Hero along for the ride for his plan to work was a minor inconvenience, but he knew that sometimes sacrifices had to be made. And the fact that this new realm apparently decided to turn him and his two unwilling companions into miniature pastel colored ponies upon arrival also wasn’t exactly part of the plan, but he could cope.

After all, that was a negligible price to pay in achieving his deepest wish: freedom.

In this story Ganondorf, having grown sick of following through the motions his destiny placed before him as the eternal bad guy to be defeated time after time, seeks out to escape from his fate by breaking through the void between dimensions and running away from Hyrule to another realm entirely, Equestria, all the while dragging both Link and Zelda along for the ride.

Arriving long before the founding of the country, back before the events of Heart’s Warming Eve and at the highest point of the conflict between the Three Tribes, he and his two new companions will have to deal with a whole new world and it’s wonders and dangers. All the while this new magical world will have to learn to deal with its three new strange inhabitants in kind.

Just a warning: This is NOT a Displaced fic. All three main characters are the actual characters from the Zelda series that have been taken to Equestria due to Ganondorf’s master plan, and not humans turned into them.

Chrysalis has a small purple filly named Twilight in her castle, and it looks as if she's going to be adopting her for a long while. Can Twilight's love change her, or even the entire hive?

Only time will tell, though Chrysalis is determined that she could never find something so fuzzy and energetic in any way cute.

A sequel by popular demand! Rated T so I have a little flexibility with language and the like, but for the most part I imagine things will be very light and non-explicit.
