Living in Equestria under a false name and racial identity is one thing. Finding out you're not the only one of your kind stranded here is another... especially when that someone and the element bearers are looking for you.

Being my first attempt at a first-person romantic comedy, this takes a slightly different approach to the concept of being a human stranded in Equestria.

It was going to be a wonderful day of hanging out with her friends at a gaming convention, filled with whatever antics the group of friends got themselves into. If only that was truly to be.

A confrontation with a strange merchant lands Dark Souls fan, Revan Eckley, in a world of technicolor equines as none other than Ornstein the Dragonslayer, the very character she had cosplayed as! Now she must set out into this ancient Equestria, and face whatever horrors that she comes across. Her arrival could not have been better timed, as it seems dragons are ravaging this land, and the Dragonslayer must rise again.

Society sometimes sees soldiers as gunmen who sometimes can't control themselves while some believe that they are too prone to violence. They also assume that soldiers are not intelligent enough to make any rational thoughts. Are they really like this? What happens if Equestria comes in contact with a wise soldier that prefers the peaceful way out?

This is my take on a realistic version of a soldier appearing in Equestria.

Alpha 9-2 was having a fairly normal day in Rapture until his little sister discovered a strange syringe of Adam. It turns out that one must never inject themselves with a syringe of unstable Adam. No matter how rainbow colored and pretty they are. Now he has found himself in a strange new body in a strange new land and with a strange new little sister.

Tartarus: the fabled prison said to hold all of the demons of Equus at bay.

Few truly know what lies behind the impenetrable doors Cerberus guards. Some say that it is a pit, infinite in it's depth and darkness, from which there is no return. Other claim it to be a hellish plain, filled with fire and pain and suffering, to punish the demons for their sins.

All of them are wrong.

Tartarus is small. An inescapable cell for a single prisoner. But the tales about it's purpose are not false.

For this captive human holds the key to unleashing upon Equestria forces which have not been seen for centuries, forces which predate Equestria by many an age.

And soon, he shall be free.

MC W1SH, more commonly know as Neon Lights, was once a well known MC and DJ in Canterlot. In fact, he was the most famous DJ in Canterlot at the time. But that was until he finds out that his fillyfriend only used him to get famous. Once she got to the top of DJ chain for being Neon's fillyfriend she dumped him. After becoming number one she started to share Neon's secret's and the next thing he knew he was at the bottom.
Sugar Beats was a simple in the closet Stallion, born and raised in Dodge Junction. His parents put constant pressure that he get together with some filly, raise some kids, and inherit the family farm. Beats wanted none of that and instead moved to Canterlot to pursue his dream of becoming a successful MC or DJ.
When the two meet up Neon is at the bottom; homeless, out of money, and addicted to the bottle. Beats however was doing rather well for himself; working at a record store and playing occasional small time gigs. Neon has a very pessimistic view on his life where as Beats has an optimistic one on his. Neon wants not never touch a turntable again and Beats wants to learn from the "master".
But opposites do attract, right?

Author's note: For the record, I don't hate all TCB fics. My problem is with the ones that depict humans as irredeemable bastards whose only hope for salvation is to convert themselves into talking horses. They piss me off. They really piss me off.

The barrier is finally closed, humans are no more and every sentient species is under the government of her majesty the Princess. But somewhere else, other beings beyond time and space have been seeing her acts and now they are ready to judge her.

Is tyranny a fair price for peace? The death of an entire species is a tolerable loss for the survival of another? Is there such thing as a superior species? Is freedom of though really the source of all evil?

When a stranger appears in front of Celestia to tell her about the trials against her, everything will change. Beyond good, beyond evil, a judgement will fall and justice will be done.

A human wakes up to find that not only has he been altered in species and gender, but that he has also landed halfway across the world from Equestria, in an unfamiliar land.

This is not that story. Not yet, anyway.

A decade in passing and Kaz has gained a reputation as a member of a well-known group of explorers traveling the world. Not once have they set foot on Equestrian soil, and she was content to keep it that way, for her appearance would bring about unwanted attention from a few certain ponies and one certain baby dragon. So what happens when the rest of the group hears of unbelievable tales of Equestria, and decide that it's time they paid a visit?

An impending disaster, that's what.
