When Applejack goes on a trip, Rarity and Sweetie Belle move in to help the Apples out on their farm. However, Rarity finds herself falling for a certain red stallion along the way.

Oh yeah, and some pony ordered 20 trampolines and a bunch of other stuff that keeps getting delivered to one wrong address after another because of the world's worst delivery pony, Blue Bonnet.. More on that later.

Big Macintosh is the sexiest stallion in town...and he hates it. Endless mares harass him and his family; he becomes convinced he'll never find the one. Or maybe he will in the last mare he expected. Meanwhile, Twilight tries to open up to a relationship while struggling with the stress of being Celestia's student and the consequences of her decisions.

Big Mac doesn’t say much. That’s just his way. However, when a routine medical exam reveals he’s going to lose his voice, he decides he’d better get his last round of speaking in while he still can. Saying a few last words to his friends (and asking out a certain schoolteacher) is all he planned on doing. If only he understood the full repercussions of opening his big mouth.

Twilight thought that, once the spell on Smarty Pants wore off, she wouldn't have to worry about it again. However, several weeks later, Applejack comes, begging for her friend's help.

Big Macintosh has gone into a depression the likes of which nopony could've ever expected of the stallion. He's not eating, barely sleeping, and spends all his time in his room, crying as he clutches the Smarty Pants doll.

Twilight, upon hearing Smarty Pants is involved realizes what has brought Big Macintosh to this state. However, her spells won't be strong enough to fix this, so she calls on Discord, hoping he will be willing to help.

Mac has dedicated his life to the farm, to his sisters, and Applejack feels bad for it, she feels it's time for her brother to star having fun again to have a life beyond his work, friends and even more, but she isn't going to let him go just with any other mare, no, she need something good and harmless.
Then there's Rarity, ever since the coronation she's been work on multiple designs for multiple clients, and she hasn't seen much of her friends ever since either, or done any other thing that isn't working.

For Applejack it was a matter of putting one and one together. A flawless harmless plan.
