Inspired by the story image, RainbowDoubleDash's Lunaverse and Trinary's "Rainbooms and Royalty", I give you my take on the alternate universe concept. Namely, a universe where Spike is the pony and Twilight is his dragon assistant.

The thousandth Summer Sun Celebration is approaching. With it will come the return of Nightmare Moon. Celestia has no student to call upon to save Equestria, and is doing all she can to make the last day of peace meaningful for her people.

Meanwhile, Spike "Purple Prose" Flail is a reporter for the Canterlot Sun. He finds himself being shipped down to the boonies with his longtime friend and assistant, Twilight, to cover the biggest festival Equestria has seen in a millennium!

But even with a visit from the princess, there's no way someplace as boring as Ponyville could ever be newsworthy. Right?

Waking up in an alternate universe in which you are a supervillain can be hard.

Finding out your friends are rebels trying to kill or overthrow you isn't very easy to deal with either.

But trying to solve the situation? That's a real horn cracker.

The Great and now Apologetic Trixie wants to give back to Ponyville for her past actions. The holiday of Hearth's Warming Eve is fast approaching and she figures that the best way to get Ponyville to finally forgive her is to spread the joy that this holiday brings. With a red and white outfit, and a matching hat, Trixie takes up the role of Noel Hooves, the patron of Hearth's Warming folklore. She goes about her mission in a 'creative' way, and on her quest, she learns what the true meaning of Hearth's Warming really is.

The Great and Powerful Trixie has finally decided that it is time for her to change! However, as Great and Powerful as she is, she needs help. And the only pony she can think of to ask is the only one as Great and Powerful as herself: Twilight Sparkle! (Or as close as one can get to matching Trixie's Greatness and Powerful... ness...)

It's that special time of the month again for the Elements of Harmony; the time when they get together for a Truth or Dare game of a more questionably pure nature. This game will be different. Most likely for the worse, but that's what drinking before the sun sets can do. Or maybe them being hornier than usual. Or secretly planning each others sex lives. Or falling in love with each other. Or all four. Most likely all four.

Twilight wants to go out on her first date, but will alcohol and the raunchy advice of her friends help? Rainbow badly wishes to sedate her loins, or maybe she's looking for something more? What exactly, is Rarity planning for this night? Should they really add weed to the equation?

The Elements all have desires they haven't quite realized they have had, and a day long exchange of sex jokes and tension might lead to events that are out of their control. It was in their control once.

Our innocent little ponies seem to have sucked in too much Seth Rogen, but that's okay.

Twilight her friends go to a carnival in Canterlot, where they find a certain unicorn. Trixie claims to have turned over a new leaf and asks for Twilight's forgiveness. Twixie! Rated teen for dirty jokes.

New adventures and new worlds. The Elements of Harmony decide to explore the magical mirrors within the Crystal Palace to gain knowledge of the different worlds. Stepping through a portal again is exciting for Twilight and new for the other five. But landing in this new world was anything but good for the Mane Six. Now they're all stuck here as...

Humans.

Great.

Aang, Katara, Sokka and Toph are searching for the Flying Bison, Appa, in the safe city of Ba Sing Se but things don't go to planned when six benders show up lost and confused on their doorstep. Aang makes it his duty to protect the six girls form the Fire Nation no matter the cost. Even if one of the girls seems to be able to wield fire.

Twilight knows that there's no such magic that exists that allows two ponies to switch bodies, however, one day the mane six mysteriously get swapped around. Each must take on their new responsibilities, what all could go wrong? And how did they switch bodies in the first place?

After Midna, the Twilight Princess, returned to the Twilight Realm and destroyed the Mirror of Twilight in the process, Link continues to travel around the land of Hyrule. One year has passed, and our hero in green revisits the Sacred Grove in Faron Woods where the legendary Master Sword resides. As he looks at the blade and all the events that was associated with it, a portal forms above him. He is sucked into the portal along with the Master Sword and later finds himself in a grassy field.

This story takes place after the events of The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess.
