While dealing with post traumatic stress brought on by the events surrounding his wedding, Shining armor is awoken in the middle of the night by a call requesting his presence. An unmasked changeling has appeared at the gates to Canterlot requesting to speak with Shining armor, and he's not speaking to anypony else. What does he want? And is there something sinister behind this, or is it all in Shining's head?

The year is 1109. Long under the rule of the royal sisters, Equestria is in the midst of an economic boom. New breakthroughs in magic and steam technology give rise to elaborate machinery, resulting in an exodus as adventurers scramble to chart the unknown lands outside the Equestrian Valley. Spearheading the movement are the airships Celestia and Luna, the pride and joy of Equestrian air travel.

After failing the final exam of Wonderbolt Academy, Rainbow Dash's dreams of serving aboard an airship seem crushed. But when a mysterious stranger offers assistance, she is given a second chance to make those dreams come true. Together with a calculating pilot, a stubborn engineer, an eccentric inventor, a genius record-keeper, a timid strategist and a child cartographer, Rainbow Dash will face down the unknown in a foreign land as she is thrust into an adventure beyond her imagination.

After constant hassling from her parents combined with the long nights spent with only Tank for company, Rainbow Dash decides to give the dating scene a try. Unfortunately, it isn't until she's given a few stallions in Ponyville a chance to impress her does she realize the perfect stallion has been right in front of her the whole time! He understands her competitiveness, need for speed, and her hatred of boredom. There's just one problem: he could end up destroying the world.

When Dash discovers her feelings for Big Mac, she realizes that no pony knows why he is so quiet. She sets out to learn where he is from and why he doesn't talk. Will the answers give her the courage to ask him out to Hearts and Hooves day?

Celestia has been having recurring dreams; dreams that she wishes would go away. But they won't, they only increase in their frequency. One night, she gives in and visits that statue in the royal garden. The statue that haunts her sleep. The statue of her one true love, the statue that she made. Comet takes his job too seriously. Angel doesn't take anything seriously.

Comet joined to protect kingdom and princess(es). Angel joined for adventure and danger.

Comet isn't interested in mares. Angel can't stop talking about stallions.

Comet is a pegasus. Angel is a bat pony.

Together, this unlikely duo goes through life as Royal Guards from basic training to fully fledged guardsponies. Who knows? Maybe they'll even start to get along.

Such is the mission of the Equestrian government's most secretive organization, RAID. Their precursor, the Royal Guard's 1st SOG-CAD, started the Wonderbolts to attract and evaluate potential operatives. Operating with near-total freedom, their actions have maintained the thin veneer of peace enjoyed by the citizens of Equestria.

Decades later, the Wonderbolts have fulfilled their secretive purpose once again, bringing the young pegasus Rainbow Dash to RAID's attention. Still hoping to one day fly before crowds, she reluctantly accepts the invitation to join. Soon after she completes her training, though, the organization is thrown into a shadowy international conflict that threatens to turn into all-out war if RAID cannot stop it. The coming fire will either temper Rainbow Dash's loyalty to a new strength or melt her in the flames of hatred...

After an irritating encounter with Penny, Sheldon retires to his home-away-from-home, his Batcave, his Fortress of Solitude: his office. But the physicist gets more than he bargained for when a strange interdimensional worm hole appears in the Biology department.

He's tried fellow Wonderbolts, fanmares, old friends, speed-dating, and countless other things. Each date was different, but they all shared one thing: Miserable, miserable failure. He has no plans on trying again. Ever. However, Spitfire won't sit and watch him mope. She knows one mare he may have a chance with, one mare that won't end horribly. Her name is Rainbow Dash.

After being basically thrown off Cloudsdale, Soarin aims to go on the perfect date with Rainbow. She really is all he really wants, and he's had feelings for her since he met her at the Gala. With help from a certain romantic dragon and old friend from Appleloosa, he'll strive to make this year's Hearts and Hooves Day perfect. He's got enough time to set it up, and Cadence's Hearts & Hooves Gala is nearing, so he has to do this right. But somepony's working behind the strings, and they want to see Soarin fail.

Dates will be made! Friendships will be tested! Pies will be eaten! And lots of other stuff! But everyone is driven by one thing: The Power of Love!
