[2nd-Person Fic starring you and Twilight Sparkle]

Singularity. Solitude. Loneliness. All three words describe the same thing: your existence. Knowing only one other being of your kind, you've grown sick of what you are and that which restricts you: your form. With your form comes an innate sense of anonymity, one you are forced into obeying by one thing: your family. Down in your spirits, you long for a life among those who you're forced to avoid, a chance at replacing it all with the help of one creature: your newest friend.

A/N: Finally, the Twilight Sparkle story I've been teasing at so much. Differing from my previous works, this one comes with a different set of 'legs,' you could say. Ha, get it, because you don't really have...legs...hm.

Just wanted to see what direction I could take the idea of seaponies in. Hope it turns out well!

Well, what can I say? This is the story of a man. Or maybe he was... a pony-man. Or maybe he was just a... Pony! But he was still...

... Yeah, this is that story. The story where a guy goes to a party and wakes up in Ponyville. That guy (I know him as 'me') seems to have landed in his own personal little heaven. Hell, I even brought me a pack of endless cigarettes. How does that not kick all kinds of flank?

Fluttershy is horrified to discover that Twilight Sparkle is positively profligate with parchment, despite the fact that it comes from animals. They have a falling out, and Pinkie Pie suggests Twilight can make it up to Fluttershy by inventing artificial parchment, which she does. But what price will our purple pony protagonist pay for provoking the wrath of the stationery-industrial complex?

Some accidents are small, and some endow you with the power of a godly ruler. On the opposite end of things, you lose your wings along with your ability to move celestial bodies, and you can't tell anypony. Why, because what would they think if the princess became a librarian? It's going to be "fine". Celestia just needs to switch back with Twilight before either of their true identities are revealed. After Twilight discovers a dusty old book detailing trans-dimensional portals used by denizens of ancient Equestria, she learns that one of these portals is right outside Ponyville. But something went wrong with the spell. Instead of a being from a different dimension, she summoned a pegasus who seems more confused by this than her. When she tries to send him back to where he came from, she gets hauled along for the ride. Turns out the portals match their users to the universe they are entering. How will Twilight handle being human?

After an accident, Twilight's life is turned upside down and changed forever.
With her friends standing by her, she must manage to overcome new obstacles, learn a new way of life, and discover just how long secrets last when hidden from those who know you best.
