Will she be able to overcome the desertion of her life-long friends? Will she be able to bear the burden of being an outcast? And more importantly, can she unmask the pony behind these acts before they get away with the Princess's murder? Twilight and Luna have now been living together for two years. Luna regains her powers over the night sky and the pair must move to Canterlot for Luna to once more take up her duties.

Twilight Sparkle finds a book in the library.

Twilight Sparkle reads aforementioned book.

Twilight Sparkle's life is thrown upside down, her view of her teacher shattered, and her friends pitted against each other.

Everything will return to normal.

One of these statements is false.

Twilight Sparkle is called to Canterlot Castle where something has happened to Princess Luna that has reverted her to a weakened state, she has to live with Twilight whilst she recuperates her magic.

Twilight Sparkle never meant to do anything wrong. But then again, all magical mistakes are caused by ponies who have no idea what happened. That's why they're called mistakes. The only difference with Twilight's mistake is that it accidentally sort of turned her into Princess Celestia. And now she doesn't know how to change back.

Twilight is trapped, and Chrysalis is to blame. But where, how, and most importantly... why? Twilight's not even sure she'll survive, and without her friends to help her, she has to face the Queen alone. What will she do? What can she do? Only time will tell.

After nearly being mugged Twilight turns her considerable talent with magic towards self defense.
