Applejack takes it upon herself to get Big Macintosh a date with one of her friends.

Centuries before the Elements of Harmony were found in Ponyville, An uncorrupted Discord fell for Cyclis, a princess who rules an island nation off the east coast of Equestria. As their relationship progressed, they helped join her nation, Zephyra, with Equestria. Smitten became love as the couple decided to start a family. But before this dream could be achieved, darkness tainted Discord's soul, leading to his stone imprisonment. But he was unaware of one thing, he left behind a bit of himself. This story reveals how this all happened, and the effect these events had on the son Discord never knew about.

Twilight had always known her kind to be a race of peace and kindness. However, when faced with something they don't quite understand, those bounds are tested. After a two legged creature arrives in Ponyville with a spear in hand and an injured Scootaloo, the citizens act in a manner which Twilight hadn't foreseen.

Perhaps the world around them isn't as black and white as she had once thought, but filled with shades of gray. Journey with Twilight and company, as they discover this for themselves as they venture beyond the borders of Equestria.

Big Macintosh seems like a simple pony who keeps to himself and doesn't say much, but there's more going on beneath the surface of this red stallion than it would seem at first glance. After his family urges him to go and make some friends in town, Big Macintosh finds himself meeting interesting ponies and discovering a whole world outside of his farm. But even with these new experiences, old memories and ghosts from the past resurface to haunt him. Big Macintosh finds himself confronted with something he thought he put behind him long ago…

It's April Foal's Day and Applejack is, as usual, the recipient of many pranks, much to the amusement of her brother. When she enlists Twilight Sparkle to help with her revenge things get a little out of hoof.

Spring. It's that time of year where all the fillies around start thinking less with their heads and more about doing what nature intended, if you know what I mean. For Big Macintosh, this means a whole lot of headache as he heads into town. With every mare acting like it's an all-you-can-eat special at Sugarcube Corner, how will our stoic stallion fair when he's the buffet?
