It's the tenth anniversary of the death of Applejack's parents. Every year she has a tradition of going up before the rest of the family and watching the sunset alone by their graves. This year she finds she's not as alone as she thought and gains a new perspective.

After her friends leave, Pinkie Pie cleans up a party and remembers the happy memories.

Losing your friends is hard.

Saying your farewells is harder.

But reminiscing makes the pain just a little bit more bearable.

Everypony enjoys myths and ponytales, even if they know such things aren't real. Alicorns fighting against a spirit of chaos? An ancient princess trapped in a library under a tree, waiting to be found? Quite enchanting and fantastic tales yes, but nonetheless as fictional as Daring Do and other such stories. At least, that's what Rarity used to think.

She doesn't anymore.
