Um, this is a story... well, actually, it's a lot of stories, thirty of them, by the time it's done. And they're all going to be about me, Fluttershy.
I find that a little bit scary.
But don't worry, they won't take up a lot of your time. I'm sure you're really busy, so these stories only took thirty minutes each to write. I'm sure you can read them a lot quicker than that. If you want to, that is. It will be updated with a new story every day, so that's a whole month of... me...

I was lukewarm on the first chapter, but this one is great.
I think "There is no need to nudge the bowl towards me, mare, I see it quite clearly!" was my favorite line.

2888567 You guess correctly. While some of them may fit together well enough, a lot of them don't fit all that well, and a few of them are flat-out contradictory to each other. Each entry starts more or less from a clean slate. If one story specifically does share continuity with another, I will point it out in the Author's Notes.
Knowing that everything will be back to normal for the next story gives me the confidence to try bold, often stupid moves that I would hesitate to do in a longer story, like kill off Applejack (in like, three out of the four of these compilations! Poor girl!
).
Jarring, I realize, if you're trying to read this all as one unified thing, but having that freedom is awfully great writing practice, and that's what these thirty-minute stories are for, is practice.

I love how Fluttershy knows how to call Pinkie into the danger-zone. Her voice was really nice in this one.
Personally, I don't think it needs a Sad tag.

I don't think it's so much sad as ... there. There's familial love in it, and you can see just how much Ms. Posey lives Fluttershy, but when that love is actually causing the problems between them, I don't think it's sad in the [sad] tag way. I just think it's sweet and beautiful and painful all at once. But I hang out on the Angst Hotline way too often, so take what I say with a grain of salt. Preferably salt distilled from pony tears.

2909864 I have a lot of stories, it seems, that flirt with the line between [Sad] and not sad. Not just in these 30-minute things, either. Stubborn as Ponies is arguably a hair away from the [Sad] tag, and if I ever get that Raridash sequel to it written, that's gonna come close to the tag, too. I guess I just like writing "almost sad."
