After everything she's done. She believes she deserve all the pain she has . Until her new friends and family show her how wrong she is.

After her and the rest of the CMC go to fine Elisabeak in the Everfree forest after she got out during there sleepover at Fluttershy's cottage and after watching Fluttershy start to be turned to stone and finding Twilight in the similar state she runs off. After getting lost a storm kicks up and forces her to confront her memories of her lost mother.

Ok this story is a short idea that I thought of one night as I was laying in bed and it wouldn't let go so here's my new story.

Apple Bloom, like we all feel at some point in our lives, feels alone in the world.
Twilight, the Princess of Friendship, is doing everything she can to fit that title.
So when Twilight finds Apple Bloom crying at the base of a tree, she makes sure to be exactly the friend Apple Bloom needs. Unfortunately, Apple Bloom gets a little too attached.

Everypony knows that Nightmare Moon was banished to the moon using the Elements of Harmony. But what nopony expected was for Princess Luna to be safe there. While the Nightmare prowled around the perimeter of her prison, Luna developed a surprising bond with a pony on Equus who has kept her company for the past twenty years. But now, the barriers holding her safe grow thinner.

Every young foal knows that the story of Nightmare Moon's banishment is just an old pony's tale to keep foals from letting envy get the better of them. But Twilight Sparkle knows better. Since she was a filly, she's had a friend who speaks to her in her dreams. When she found out that this friend was Princess Luna, trapped in her moon, she dedicated her life to trying to find a way to free her. But now that the time has come for Nightmare Moon's escape, can Twilight rescue the mare of her dreams?

AU of the first episode where Twilight was obsessed with Princess Luna instead of Celestia. My entry for Equestria Daily's Super Hearts and Hooves Day Lovefest Fanfic Event. Years after Twilight's coronation, Spike's wings have sprouted, and the Princess of Friendship takes time off to fly with him. During this time, Spike grows confused as to what Twilight and Princess Celestia are to him.

As part of a game with her friends, a blindfolded Twilight Sparkle has to guess who kissed her.

This story is a sequel to Becoming One With the Night

It was supposed to be a good day. Twilight and Luna were sharing the news of their relationship with their closest friends and family. However, Celestia's largest secret yet finally came out. Now, relations are strained between Celestia and everypony else. After all, what's Twilight to do when she finds out her second mother is actually her birth mother?

On top of this massive bombshell, soon Twilight will be sporting a pair of wings of her own. If she thought things were complicated now, just wait until Canterlot gets wind of a new alicorn. Life is about to become one giant nightmare for Twilight. But hey, at least she has Luna, right?

As stated above, this is a sequel. I highly encourage you to read the first story (the writing is extremely rough early on, mind you), but it's not entirely required to understand most everything that will be going on here.

EDIT: Takes place during S3, when it was originally conceived, thus the Alt. Universe tag. There was no redemption of Discord. There was no ascension. Yes, the Crystal Empire is back, and Cadance and Shining Armor are the leaders there. This should cover the more critical aspects of the season in regards to the story.

Luna has been redeemed by the elements of harmony, but is finding that salvation is harder to come by. Ponies avoid her, the memories of Nightmare Moon still fresh in their minds. Additionally, after a thousand years of solitude and silence, she’s having trouble adjusting to life in noisy, crowded, living Equestria.

Change never happens easily, and Luna struggles despite the help of her sister and new friends, failing as much as she succeeds.

Perhaps the Moon, her prison for so very long, is truly where Luna belongs after all.

Nightmare Moon spends a thousand years banished to the Moon, fighting herself and the Shadows both within and without. She watches civilization rise and spread, a quarter-million miles away.

Can she reclaim her power? Can she overcome the six champions her sister has sent to defeat her?

Why do three of the champions look terribly familiar to the renegade Moon Princess? Why does the sight of one, in particular, break her heart?

And why, as the battle continues, does she increasingly hope that she does not win?
