Written for Quills and Sofa's "Write Something Terrible" Panic. The idea was to write a terrible story, but I interpreted it as "write a terrible idea inside a story."

Celestia hopes to convince the parliament to ban duels, but it's an unpopular proposal. The last thing she needs is Luna stirring up trouble at the gala, so of course that's what happens.

After all, she's the most powerful unicorn spellcaster alive! There's nothing she cannot do if she approaches it with a rational, reasonable mindset.
