Rainbow Dash never did the sonic rainboom and everything is vastly different for the mane 6.

The world we know never happened and all of the mares have gone on to live their own lives, will they reunite when Nightmare Moon returns, or will they have their own lives to worry about?

This is a darker twist on the realm as war and Nightmare Moon go hoof in hoof.

After a fun day at Twilight's with Applejack, Rainbow learns something has terrible has happened, who's going to be the one that can keep her spirits up? Will it lead to something she wasn't expecting?

Equestria has changed. War threatens to tear the world apart, and Rainbow Dash finds herself caught in the center of it all, allied with the least likely of creatures.
The royal sisters have vanished, leaving Princess Twilight to take charge in their stead, bringing the eye of King Gallows of the Gryphon Kingdom. He begins wonder if Equestria has the strength needed to defend itself any longer.
The locations of the element bearers have become obscure at best, Twilight and Dash being the only two in contact with one another.
Having grown over the years, Dash has attained a greater wisdom, appreciation, and knowledge of the idea behind loyalty. This new grip on her fate allows her to channel the element in her possession as an individual, and pushes her to find her lost friends before they're lost for good, for their country may need them in this dark time. This is the first in a series I plan to visit a number of times with Rainbow taking the role of our main protagonist, however as this is a large scale fantasy adventure, there will be multiple heroes with their own parts to play as well when the party splits up.

Another little tidbit that could interest you readers, is that most of the chapters of these stories will also be the titles of various songs from the power metal genre, a favored genre of mine that helped inspire and push forward this project. There will be a link to each song on the title at the beginning of the chapter if you wish to listen, but keep in mind that the story and song share little more than a title.

Discord returns from a long imprisonment in stone once more. He does this as Rainbow Dash faces a moment of weakness. Seeing an opportunity, he plots to destroy both her reputation, and her sanity, and step over the other five to take back the throne. Meanwhile, Rainbow Dash must wrestle with the idea of mentoring the flightless filly, Scootaloo, as well as dealing with nightmares created by Discord to break her down.

What's it like to have wings? To live boundlessly? To have gone places none of your friends have been before? Dash reflects on her life.

Stuff goes down When Rainbow Dash's Body is Found With a Knife Wound In Her Chest. Twilight is shocked to find that one of her closests friends had been Murdered. No one knew who killed her. But They do have some Evidence, With little knowledge of Dash's Killer, and A Small Lock Of Her Mane. Knowing She had probably tried to fight back. But Knowing Cause of Death Would Help. But More Killings Shall Come Later.
Note: My Oc Fusion Bolt Strike Does Make a Appereance in this. But I need an Oc To be Dash's Killer. Slight Romance at the beginning but after that no more romance. This story is a sequel to Life and Future

Everyone has heard of me, I mean come on who hasn't heard of the fastest flyer in all of Equestria. But no one has heard a story I would rather not tell, but I'm going to tell it anyway. This story haunts me to no end, it just personal is why it haunts me. To you it might not seem hard, but I loved my dad, and this makes it even harder to begin. I guess it all started with Twilight Sparkle, one of my best-est friends I could ever have.

(This takes place after the events of Twilight's Life and Future.)

Rainbow Dash is unquestionably the bravest pony in Equestria. But that doesn't mean she isn't afraid. After a tragic accident with her friend Fluttershy, who is still traumatized by her flight school experiences, Dash is forced to face another side of herself... one that she hoped she'd never have to.

Over a long period of time, Rainbow Dash has instilled into her mind this complex ignorance of all things uncool, the most significance being negative emotion. She likes to believe that emotions like sadness and hate are things which she shouldn't bother with.

So her solution is the hide them all, lock them away deep inside herself in a place where she shouldn't have to worry about them anymore.

Only there is a problem.

Sometimes, you can't bottle yourself up forever.
