Applejack is many things. Honest, hardworking, kind, and trustworthy. To her friends, she's somepony they can always count her to be there when they need somepony to talk to, or when they simply desire a snack or cider. To her family, she's everything they could've asked for in a farmpony.

But beneath it all, there's a voice that cries day in and day out, yearning to be free. Never is it heard, ever is it present.

That is, until one autumn day when her wish is granted, for the hat gifted to her all those years ago is blown away, breaking her free of its eternal grip.

Now, her hat must get back home by any means necessary. Lucky for it, Ponyville has plenty of potential hosts for its calming and motherly touch...

On the coldest night of winter, Trixie is wholeheartedly certain that her wagon would be able to keep her warm, but... she was wrong. Luckily for her, Starlight knows a very snuggly way to keep her warm.

After the events of All Bottled Up, Twilight finds out about what happened while she was gone and decides that Starlight and Trixie need to be taught a lesson.

But Pinkie's suggestion isn't what she had in mind.

Trixie Lulamoon is Equestria's greatest magician. She has more magic skill then anypony can master. But the one thing she doesn't have is Christmas spirit.
She is visited by her old friend who warns her of her deeds and soon is visited by the three ghost of Christmas. Will Trixie get the Christmas spirit or will she forever be a Scrooge?

Starlight Glimmer felt pretty awkward sharing her super depressing and psychologically unnerving old logbook with Twilight Sparkle, but it was for the best to give her teacher greater insight into her student.

Now she has left a gift of many scrolls, her new diary entries,
made since she first began learning under Twilight's friendship tutelage.

She hopes that Twilight finds this particular insight a bit more encouraging...
At least, comparatively so!

Captain Rainbow Dash is in BIG trouble. 13 years ago she made a deal with the ghostly Dragon Ruler of The Ocean Depths Spike Jones to raise the Black Pearl from the depths. Now her time is up and so she must now serve on Jones' crew or be sent to Spike Jones' Locker, courtesy of the kraken. The only way out is for her to seize the fabled Dead Stalliion's Chest and use it as leverage against Spike. Meanwhile, relcutant swashbuckler Shining Armor and his fiancee Cadence Mi Amore face a death sentence for freeing Rainbow a year earlier unless Shining Armor can find Rainbow and convince her to return to Port Royal. This story is a sequel to The Assassination of Twilight Sparkle

A single life can affect so many others in such positive ways, but when it dies all are left to feel the aftermath. With the death of Princess Twilight Sparkle, assassinated at the hooves of both guards and nobles, a nation struggles to recover as the effects of her death are felt throughout Equestria.

The many lives that she had touched will never be the same. Each is their own story of their struggles, their sorrows, and their attempts to move on in the aftermath of tragedy.

Each chapter is about the other characters, outside of Celestia, who deal with the aftermath of Twilight's death in the first story. Some will be main characters, other minor, others OC. But all of them will be affected, all of them will mourn, and all will have to move on.
