I love to swim, write, and waste my hours away on this site.

That was a really cute story, I liked it.

Great friendshipping and a nice premise that I hadn't seen before.

This so totally needs featured too.

Under 4000 words, so it's physically impossible with the feature box algorithm.

But that was a good story for sure.

That was a nice little short story. Went in kind of expecting it to be a bit darker, and I was pleasantly surprised to find a heartwarming tale.

2304766 That's part of the algorithm? Since when?

Oh yeah-Inception reference. That, or it was just a huge coincidence you used the word elephant in the context.
Really sweet story here, loved how it showed the softer side of Rainbow.

I might just have the pathological inability to enjoy stories like this.
It was good. But I just can't.
Maybe I'm too obsessed with Dash's characterization. Maybe I am to biased against anything that contradicts canon.
Oh well.

Well, I don't know that for sure, but FattyMagee1 pointed out a while ago that no story under 4000 words every gets featured. Trust me, I got a story to 95 upvotes in a day but it never got featured. I've also never seen a <4000 word story get featured since then. My best guess is that it was put there to keep the x-does-y fics from getting featured.

That was such an enjoyable read. Thank you for this little treasure.

I rather liked this. Sometimes friendshipping can work just as well as, if not better than, the full relationship.

Sometimes...

Short and right into the feels... a lovely story!
Makes me wonder what happened to Celestia - i hope there will be a background story following one day

Nice little story. I enjoyed this little read. Keep up the great writing!

cool story i really enjoyed it

i love how you leave the story in a semi-cliffhanger, but i would place my bits on Twilight success at raising the sun, since The Last Day Ever was considered a day and was even in some calendars, but it could also mean that it indeed was the last day ever and Twilight failed, but as i said, i place my bits on Twilight

its gonna have continuity or its only gonna be a one-shot?
loved it either way :twilightblush:

This was quite good. Very glad I stumbled upon it.

~Skeeter The Lurker

Who else has ever raised the sun but Celestia?

Dash, you played a major role in that play. Surely you paid attention to your friend's parts too. Or maybe you couldn't hear Spike narrate it?

I dunno. It doesn't do much for me. Dash nerves don't come off as extremely Dash-like and Applejack's wisdom just doesn't seem very Applejacky. Combined with the fact that Celestia seems to have had no issues taking over the moon and that both princesses took over their celestia bodies after the unification of Equestria, and it seems downright silly.

Sorry.

This was a short but really great read, I loved it :)

one question,.. so is it the last day forever [like u said] or is twi gonna raise the sun?

That was nice.

2306379 That's for you to decide. The story's left open-ended on purpose.
2305496 It's a one-shot. I feel like continuing it would partly ruin the purpose of the story.
2305030 Huh. So Dash was a little off here? I kept trying to work things around so it would seem like it made sense, but... oh well.
2305242 I find myself enjoying friendshipping more than regular shipping a lot of the time. I think it makes things seem more heartfelt. Heck, sometimes the best shipfics start out as simple friendshipping.
2306336 Eh, don't be sorry. I took an idea, ran with it, and I guess it didn't end up the way I wanted it to. It happens. Usually I'm good at keeping the characters in character, but I guess that wasn't the case here.

Nicely written great job.

:pinkiehappy: This is a fantastic story, and a nice pinch of Appledash for their fans. Keep up the great work

this is a very deep short story! I liked it a lot!
fears like that are something to think
amazing!

Short and sweet. I feel like it could've been a section of another story, rather than a story in itself. Nevertheless, good job.

I really enjoyed this. It had a good flow throughout and left off on a perfect degree of ambiguity

This was such a sweet story. I love reading fics like these every once in a while; it puts my mind at ease.
Kudos to you, sir. Wonderful wonderful story. :rainbowkiss:

I hope you don't mind, but I liked this fic so much I have put together an audio version on YouTube.

Ah, that was a wonderful read, thank ya kindly, pardner! :ajsmug:

was this set before or after season 3's finale?

either way, i don't like how all of equestria was doubting twilight like that.

did enjoy this though. i was just getting into appledash at the time i listened to the reading scribbler did of this fic (which was how i learned of it) and this was very good

I wrote a review of this story; it can be found here.

I liked it. No complaints.

5665949 Your avatar would work as a potential sequel joke image.

:ajbemused: "...Welp, guess those phony-ponies were right, Sun ain't comin' up today."
:rainbowhuh: "Does this mean we go with Plan B?"
:applejackunsure: "Don't see any other way."
:rainbowdetermined2: "Put me in, coach."
:ajsmug: "Ready to blast through the earth to get the Sun back up here!"
:trollestia: "Excellent, time to blow up China!"
:unsuresweetie::duck: "Whut?"

Woo, a fair amount of feelings from this one. Celestia is stepping down as the mover of the sun, and Rainbow Dash worries that Twilight won't have enough power to make another day come. Odd, from the Element of Loyalty, but I imagine anyone would have some serious doubts if they heard the sun had to rise a different way tomorrow.

It's a quick piece, and very atmospheric. It ends ambiguously, as the ponies all wait for the night to pass and another sun to rise. A very good pick for a calm afternoon where a tiny bit of a downer isn't so much a bad thing.
