Spike hears a cry that none else can hear. It grows during isolation and whispers throughout his bones. Twilight assures he's not crazy. But an otherworldly phenomenon beckons the little dragon home.

A bit late to the party, but this line hit me the hardest, and I can't quite put my finger on why.

Regardless, you did an a good job here at capturing the raw emotion of just wanting to climb the highest peak and scream your lungs out. I hope after writing this that you were able to let out your prolonged cry, you and anyone else deserves it just as much as spike does.
