Awww, such a sweet story. :pinkiesad2:

Shame this wasn't in the episode.

Now why wasn't THIS in the episode?

I'm sorry, but this just feels like it was written because you disliked the episode. Maybe it's just because I like the episode (I saw no problems with the Wonderbolts' behavior and I don't think they need to be shown the "error of their ways") and don't care much for fix fics. It just feels a bit forced. Sorry, I don't mean to come off as rude.

Hmm, although this was a very sweet story, it could have been a bit longer, maybe you should have gone more into Spitfire's own thoughts on the matter like you did with Rainbow's.

Not a bad story. I hated the fact that they continued calling her crash even though she was obviously uncomfortable with it; I would have preferred that she got a chance to explain in the episode that that was a name that bullies gave her.

7446584 I agree. Sticks and Stones may break bones, but words shall never hurt anyone. The Wonderbolts did nothing wrong in my opinion in this episode.

PFFF. In my humble opinion, we didn't need a nearly 2k fic to transcribe what Spitfire shoulda said to Dash. Just 5 would have sufficed... "Shape up, or ship out."

Good, but I have to ask what kind of editing software you're using because it seems to be making mistakes with bold, italiacs, and spacing.

7447665 I've spent this morning doing some fine tuning on your edits, just to make it better read for others.

7447396 not intentionally, it wasn't their fault they didn't know how much they that particular one hurt

"reverses" should be "reserves" (one of those things where a spelling checker won't help you!)

7449058 Even if it was an "old wound," it was just a name. If people called me The Crashed One, I wouldn't care. Words are words, end of discussion.

7450080 unfortunately for people that is not the case
Words have area ter effect on people than others

7450080 different effect I mean

7451336 It is a weakness, and a very dangerous one at that. The day when mere sounds that have no form hurt someone, is the day that someone has failed utterly in defending itself.

7451329 If she can't handle a small nickname, she's not fit to be a Wonderbolt. You need to be mentally strong for that kind of thing.

7451765 ita nto really a small nickname if it was an insult that had an impact on her childhood

7451848 If it was such a "big deal" she should have at least handled things reasonably and talked to the Wonderbolts about it. Instead what does she do? She tries to "stand out" by mimicking her friends and show off in a performance that's supposed to be a team effort. Oh yeah, she's completely blameless while the Wonderbolts are horrible bullies!

And my point about the mental strength still stands.

7451990 I am not saying rd's actions were stupid, she should have talked it out with them

7451990 weren't stupid I meant

"LISTEN HERE YOU HOTHEADED BRAT!" I shout at Spitfire while grabbing her by her shoulders and pinning her against the wall.

"I hate bullies, and you and your Wonderbolt cronies are nothing but lazy, incompetent, selfish, egotistical bullies who constantly put others in harm's way just to show off how good at flying you are; despite actually being worse at flying than a one month old unicorn."

I then let Spitfire go and she falls to the ground. Then I put my face against her's.

"How old are you?" I ask her.

"Thirty...thirty four." Spitfire stutters.

"Then why do you act like a 7 year old bully? Because that's how you act, like an elementary school thug. What with the way you egged an idiot on with putting others in danger just to show off how reckless and stupid she was, then you had the audacity to leave your business partner behind just to enter something you shouldn't be entering on the grounds of being too professional, and now you almost got more civilians injured due to you and your thugs' bullying."

*Spitfire is worst pony and really should be a villain*

This is a much better conclusion to the episode. :)

After all the name calling I wanted their asses kicked

7451990
Yeah but unfortunately she tried to get advice to handle the problem and the one thing nobody suggested was tell them how she felt. Twilight was make friends with them. She tried being like her friends to do that. Though this would have been a better end. I don't see how reminding people over and over on how they messed up is ever a good thing.
