It's funny that this fic was made when it was. I was making a Starlight Glimmer story where I was going to explain differently how self levitation works. I like your idea it is a very simplistic an not complex way to put it. And Twilight is cute!

Celestia states that there are two million unicorns in Equestria, and that ten in every hundred unicorns can self-levitate. That's 10% of 2 million, which is two-hundred thousand unicorns who can self-levitate. A further 10% of those unicorns can self-levitate effectively, bringing the grand total of unicorn flyers to twenty thousand, not two thousand.
The Princess seems to be off by a factor of ten... which honestly doesn't bother me as much as the fact that Twilight never picked up on the error.
