Okay, quick talk about three episodes. I know I haven't been doing these weekly but I am behind on mlp. Season 8 wasn't... as good as I would have hoped so I stopped keeping track each week. My bad. Season 9, from what I've seen, has picked up the slack. So there's some positive. I'm going to try and watch at least 2 or 3 episodes a day until I get caught up. Don't worry, I'll be ready for the finale..... ugh, i don't want to think about this show coming to an end.

Well as a Starlight fan, I have to say I did rightfully enjoy this episode. However, I don't have a ton to say about this one (or the subsequent episode.) Not to say they are bad, it's just that I feel these aren't episodes that give me a lot to talk about. This is especially so with TRTF. It's basically a roadtrip episode and it has some of the usual fare that you see in typical road trip specials/movies/episodes. So it's not really breaking new ground.

Well I still need to catch up on season 8 and 9 since I'm still behind. However, I'll be brief with these three as I've watched them. All three didn't really help my interest in season 8, which has become my least favorite season, beating out season 4. I don't hate any of these three but they aren't the stellar examples of MLP I'd hope for.

Well what do you know, we've finally got a large villain team up. While we do still count Discord and Tirek being a thing, this is one of the larger villain team ups we've seen in the show. It's not surprising. Shows with a plethora of villains will always eventually get a bunch of them to team up for a few episodes. It's mostly to bounce them off each other while also upping the anty when it comes to our protagonists.

Well everyone. Here it is. Season 9. The final season of MLP:FIM. You know, when I first heard the rumors of this possibly being the final season. I dismissed them. Before that, I heard a rumor that the show would continue into 2020 at least so I was aiming to see this show for at least 10 seasons and that was a number I was hoping. 9 though... I think I was banking on ten because it would make the magic of friendship last just a bit longer. Just one more year.
