As weird as this may sound, this feels like it's a sequel without really being a sequel.
This was less of a sequel and more of a perfect spinoff. I love the way you approached the romance and the portrayal of Ditzy was spot on. Bravo!

A sequal that could be a stand alone story in its own right, nicely done. I'm always up for an usual shipping and while I'm a die hard Spike fan I'm behind RarityXDitzy. You made them work so well together.

This was different and I don't really read stories with, Rarity, as a main character, even she's paired with, Ditzy. But, I enjoyed this more than I thought I would. Very interesting pairing, one that I like. Great job!

Oh man, the clop thing was a joke in regards to me writing something I explicitly told myself I would never do, and now it's totally gotten out of hand! If I ever do anything clop-ish it'll be a sexless clop parody, like the story I mentioned in the blog post I just made today.

Dating a mail carrier can go very wrong if the spark fizzles out, read a story about a guy who was dating a dentist and when things got dicey and he had an appointment she ripped out everyone of his teeth. So, if Rarity has a nasty falling out with Ditzy, expect her mail to end up at a Crystal Empire equivalent of a Waffle House.
That being said adorable story, like the follow up the Lyra/Spike story and Flea Markets are awesome, they're a great place to buy firearms, funnel cake, old video games, tombstones, homemade crafts, boiled peanuts, knives, used cookware and nicknacks.

You know what I realized that I like about your two stories in this series? Twilight isn't in them. Now, I don't mean that as a negative against my second-favorite character, but I do like how you've managed to make it so that these characters have to solve their own problems without calling in Fix-It Princess. It shows maturity on Spike's part... and Rarity's.
Speaking of Rarity, you had her spot-on in this. As much as I hate to see "The End of the Affair," in terms of Sparity, you let it play out well, and the line "Hugs were never off the table." made some warmth sneak into my features and a little "Aww" escape my lips.
So, in short, well done... again.
