For the past eight years, Apple Bloom has been doing anything and everything to earn her cutie mark, but she still doesn't have it, even after her fellow Cutie Mark Crusaders found theirs.

Having traveled everywhere in Equestria and beyond to find her mark, she's begun to wonder if she'll have to leave the planet entirely before she discovers her destiny.

It turns out that she's not far off from the mark in her guess...

This is a Doctor Who crossover, with the intent that even those readers with only a casual knowledge of the series will enjoy it. It takes place somewhere in Series 6 of Doctor Who, and several years after the end of Season Four in Friendship Is Magic.

There are three things to note in regard to the character tags on this story:

* It's a Doctor Who crossover, and yet there's no character tag for Doctor Hooves. Therefore, you can think of this as a "Doctor Lite" episode.

* It has "Centaur" in the title, and yet there's no Tirek tag. He's not in it, so don't get your hopes up.

* And finally, the "Other" tag is for this character: Green Dragon

Kharn the betrayer was always happy with his lot in life, he got to kill and maim in the name of Khorne the blood God and just generally cause havoc, however due to the actions of a single cowardly psyker he finds himself in a land of...pastel coloured ponies? this is his story.

After taking a year off from formal education, I decide to return and finish off my general education. I end up getting a pony for a roommate. I wonder just how well things will turn out?

The only problem is, the spell was only powerful enough for a week. The only way to become a permanent resident of Equestria is to find their cutie mark within that time limit; otherwise they'll return to Earth and never be able to return.

Finding one's destiny is no easy trick. Through their time in Equestria they'll learn more than they ever thought they could about themselves, other ponies, and what it takes to truly live in Equestria.

Twilight is tired of her life. Her friends, her mentor, her job, her 'special talent', everything seems pointless, frivolous and boring. After a tragic accident she discovers and decides to join a secret, ruthless organization, created to protect all living creatures by the horrible, indescribable things that lurk in the darkness: the Foundation.
