A pony can choose to do many things in his or her life before he or she dies: he could be a farmer, bringing in produce and commerce to the kingdom, or she could be a rebel, fighting to further her cause. Death visits everypony, however: the farmer hopes to leave his farm in capable hooves before he passes, and the rebel hopes to have finished the fight for whatever cause she was fighting for before her time comes.

Sometimes, death likes to come calling early: the farmer taken before his prime provides no additional produce; and the rebel becomes a martyr, causing others to fight in her place.

Sometimes, rather than kill a pony, it is better to leave him or her broken.

Equestria's origins are long forgotten, as well as its most powerful weapon, but when three stallions, unknown even to Princess Celestia appear in the middle of an elite forces camp questions are raised. One, the earth pony, appears to be silent, but his sheer size and strength speak for him enough, another, a unicorn, seems to be quite laid back and pretty self-centered, but he can hold his own with powerful magic that rivals and possibly surpasses the combat skill of Captain Shining Armor, finally the third, a pegasus, apperently the oldest and leader of the three remembers something about his past, more in particular, somepony. Follow the three on a journey that will tell them who they were, where they will be going and finally who they were really meant to be.
Starting with a prologue that goes over a lot of things and explains enough to you so you don't get lost in the actual story.
Alternate Universe tag because it follows the canon story line of events all the way until 'Magical Mystery Cure' No Twilicorn.

As a young colt, Hoarfrost never could have imagined he would be anything but the first of these four things, being branded as the runt of his village, failing the memory of his ancestors, even failing in getting his Cutie Mark at the normal age. Fate however has a way of changing your perspective on events, and little stones can soon become landslides, the consequences of the smallest actions having the furthest reaching repercussions.
As an Arctic Wolf, it is his duty to help safeguard the growing empire of Equestria from all threats, be they Diamond Dogs, Minotaur's or anything else that threatens his kin. All threats must fall before the Arctic Wolves. No exceptions

This story is a side story to The God Empress of Ponykind by iowaforever. Go check it out, or I doubt this will make sense, plus the fact it's just awesome in general.

Spike has been feeling depressed that he may lose Rarity since he is a dragon and that he'll lose her and his friends as he outlives them all. Desperate to find a way to win Rarity's heart, Spike finds a shopkeeper who has a surprise that ends up changing his life. He finds a potion that turns the dragon into a pony and now has a chance with his princess. As Spike takes on flying lessons from Rainbow Dash, swoons Rarity, and adjusts to his new life it all seems okay. He couldn't be anymore wrong and it has come with a great price. He and his friends are in the sight of an old flame who has come for revenge and is especially interested in Rarity. Now Spike must gather the courage to go forward and save his friends and his love.

This story is Sparity fic (My OTP Deal with it) and is a WIP on this site, and on DeviantART. I try to get the chapters out as soon as I can, so my updates my be random. This is gore in this story, but that happens a little down the road, so for now this'll be marked teen. As I reach the gore part, it'll most likely change to mature ratings.

Link has done many things in his life all at a very young age. He defeated hordes of monsters, traveled through time and into another world, and defeated two beings with powers equal to gods. Yet throughout all this he never lived a normal life.

While on a search for a friend who had left him long ago he is sucked in by a portal and teleported into the land of Equestria. When he awakens in this new land all of his memories of his life are gone. When the Elements of Harmony realize that he has no where to go one volunteers to take care of him until he can remember who he is.

The elements aren't the only ones who will try and get his memory back. They will get help from both a mystical being with wings and the dead to help the hero remember who he was. They better be quick though a evil unlike any other Equestria has ever seen is rising. And it wants the dead body of Link and it will do whatever it takes to make sure it happens.

It is after the End War. Balance has been returned to the Three Kingdoms, and humanity has been restored. But what of the Horsemen? There is no need of such a force now, and many are reluctant to leave them free to roam without the Charred Council controlling them. But what to do with them? A decision is reached to send them to Equestria, a world that has, until now, been protected from the problems that face other worlds. However, the presence of newly discovered gateways to this pristine world threatens that tranquility. The Horsemen will have to help defend this innocent world, despite their own personal feelings about it

This story is separate from my other stories, though certain OCs may appear in other stories. As I have yet to play Darksiders 2, and have not read the published book or the comics, the personalities of the Horsemen may differ somewhat, though hopefully not too much. Enjoy

A forest where the time is always night and evil spirits walk free. There are no tales of the forest, only because that no pony has ever gotten out to tell them. Whatever goes on in Duskwood, one mare is about to find out the hard way.

Tirek is in Tartarus, and Twilight has a certain power of his.

She must gain power to carry out this task. When she does, her enemies will know her wrath. But, is this really justice? Will the young Princess stop at her enemies, or will her rage run much deeper?
