A non-canon story set in the world of "Journey with a Batpony" by Gulheru.

A group of Noctrali fall to arguing about what they should do as for the first time in nearly a thousand years an Equestrian, Princess Twilight Sparkle, is allowed to visit their sacred homeland. As they argue the merits of holding Twilight captive for the crimes of Equestrians a thousand years dead, they receive counsel from an unexpected source.

This story is a sequel to The (Mis)adventures of Nava: Book One

After having just escaped death from a near fatal magical accident that he nearly paid with his life, Nava must now make a choice either fear magic forever, or finally man up for once and face all of his problems head on. Including his bad acrophobia and the fact that the Princesses now know of his existence as well.

Not only that, but a certain group of thestrals will also be keeping a direct eye on him too. Specifically a certain captain with anger issues and a complicated past which may or may not explain her reasons for her questionable methods and sometimes open hostility.

Will Nava break from his problems with the help of those closest to him in this new world? Or will he finally break down and let his fears get the better of him.

Also what is going to happen to both Flitter and Cloudchaser? The two mares who invited this strange new Alicorn into their lives. Will they find out that he is not from Equestria at all?

Who knows? Only the future itself can answer these questions.

Every foal in Equestria dreams of the day they finally receive their cutie mark. The day in which everything in life makes finally sense. The day they find out their destiny in one glowing symbol. I waited my entire life to for that moment. I didn’t wish for anything extravagant, only something ordinary that would signify where I belonged.

What I got are two cutie marks. Two destinies.

Now, every day feels like walking a tightrope over a life I barely understand. My friends are drifting away, and the adults can’t decide if I’m a enigma or a problem. The State of Chiropterra had existed in isolated secrecy for a thousand years. Descended from the most loyal Legions of Nightmare Moon, they employed extreme measures to survive on a hostile continent, relentlessly preparing for the night of their Empress's glorious return.

But now their historic task is complete, Nightmare Moon sits undisputed upon the Equestrian throne, and Chiropterra's fate in the New Lunar Millenium is to be decided.

Amongst it all, the Equestrian General Selenite had befriended two Chiropterrans from opposite ideological persuasions, the hardline conservative Auburn Leaf and the moderate reformist Lucent Eclipse. As Chiropterra's future hangs in the balance, so does their relationship.
