Starlight Glimmer has gotten hold of a time-travel spell and the Friendship Journal, and she's gonna fix some drama, friendship lessons be hanged!
So here's a first: not only is this technically incomplete, but I'm about to be reviewing (in no particular detail) something I wrote! Or had a hand in writing, at least. Holy shit, there's 54 authors in this. @_@ As the season 8 chapter was just uploaded, I feel the time has come to throw the spotlight on it, incomplete or no. What will you find in here? Hilarity. Not every installment is equally good, but this is a celebration of everything that makes Starlight Glimmer the overpowered psychopath we all know and love. The problem with fix-fics tends to be a lack of drama or conflict, but when your starting premise is "we're going to short-circuit all the drama, and it's gonna be funny", the field is ripe for shenanigans. There's lots of pizza, lots of shipping (and the thing I did in S8 where Starlight's getting old, which I don't think actually works, but whatever); this is a real good time and you could do far worse than pull up a few of its episodes now and then for some laughs. You never can know what someone will come up with to short-circuit an episode, after all! Trust me, I wrote the non-canon sequel. :V

Missing Out

Equestria has been saved, all the important ponies have been saved, and through all of that the changelings have been reformed. With the exception of one.

As all the ponies escaped from their cocoon prisons they all see that the battle wasn't over yet once Chrysalis emerges from the rubble of her destroyed throne. They were all getting ready for the final showdown and put an end to evil tyrant's ways, however, once she emerged they all saw that something bad has happened.

Apparently the explosion the love from all the reformed changelings has caused was too much for Chrysalis to handle and in doing so caused the former queen to develop amnesia. Absolutely no memory of anything not even her own name.

Starlight Glimmer, however, sees this as an opportunity to make a new friend and she's willing to take the risk.

Probably the most l33t thing you will ever read. How many times do I use the word l33t within? Let's find out. Comments always welcomed.

Princess Cadence (surprised still fighting to wake up) my student? Blueberry needs me? Why? She’s the daughter of my adopted aunt Princess Celestia….she’s no weak pony…she has more compassion than I do…I taught her everything I know about the Power of the Heart…What more can I do, Blueberry? (Tears running down Cadence cheeks)

Mysterious mare voice (mysterious) that I cannot tell you, Princess…you must find out for yourself…So wake up Princess!

In an abandoned part of the Crystal Palace, a five foot long spectrum colored, oblong energy bubble, floats in mid air. A moment later, it pops and drops a very beautiful 5ft 9in tall curvy pale, light pink Alicorn mare anthro with a moderate violet, moderate rose and pale gold streaked mane and tail to the tile floor. She’s attired in a sleeveless green top of the knee length dress with light gold gladiator sandals on her five toed bare feet. To round out her outfit, she’s wearing her gold princess’s regalia.

The Alicorn mare rubs the sleepiness out of her light purple eyes with her hand. Her first attempt to stand up results in her falling on her backside and discovering she’s a two legged pony, and not a four-legged pony. After the fifth attempt of trying to get to her feet, the Alicorn figures out how to walk. She makes her way through the abandoned hallways of this unrepaired part of the Crystal Palace trying to make it back to the throne room. As she emerges in a large open area of the Palace, she is quickly seized by the Black Opal Internal Security Unit and taken down to the Crystal Palace dungeon.

Far, far away from the Equiss system, the queen of blades is readying the launch of her newest weapon. A ship designed to infest an entire planet in secret, readying it for the eventual zerg invasion and softening up even the hardest target, Korhal. Unfortunately for the queen of blades, the untested zerg biotechnology is more difficult to master then she thought and the infestation ship vanishes after launch.

Untold eons later Twilight Sparkle is preparing for her entrance exam for Celestia's school for gifted unicorns only to stop when she sees a star fall into her new treehouse. The young pony sets out in the middle of a storm, intent on seeing this fallen star for herself.

What she finds inside will change not only her destiny but the destiny of all on Equiss prime.

The story so far!

An average man died an average death, having achieved nothing of note, either of good, or evil. While in a different world, Celestia has perished during the changeling invasion, leaving behind grieving sister, student and nation.
But death is not the end for either of these people and with the power of a star, their destinies will be intertwined and reforged anew!

The Elements of Harmony haven't been needed in such a long time and still sit in their place at the Tree of Harmony. It's been many years since Equestria has been at peace. However, Queen Celestia and Luna have taken notice of things yet to come and have debated every option they could take. Tirek was brought up and Celestia decided that trying to reform him would be the best option they would have. The risk was heavy, but it was a risk they needed to take.
