Spike attempts to Make Flurry Heath and Pumpkin Cake Friends, but it quickly turns into a Rivalry over who deserves Spike's attention more, they decide on a contest, the first one to get Spike and Pinkie together is the better one. Shenanigans ensue.

If you're here looking for a happy story where everyone walks away smiling, then you've come to the wrong place. There won't be any friendship or morale lessons to wrap up this tale. Lawful Crane and his girlfriend Pearl Lane happen to be in town during Anon-a-Miss' reign of terror in Canterlot High. Crane, being a skilled detective, is easily able to determine that Sunset Shimmer is being framed. Is life really like a box of chocolates? Life is actually more like a hot apple pie to the face. Or like that coppery taste a pony gets in their mouth after getting struck by lightening when everything smells like ozone. Will everyone survive the sleepover? Is romance in the air or did Spike forget to take out the garbage? Will a little harmless genderbending bring an end to guy's night?

It had been a year since Hazelnut Latte and her younger sister/sort-of-adopted-daughter, Cocoa Jinx, came to Ponyville. She came for a fresh start and a good, wholesome place to raise her sister, but things get complicated. Balancing single parenthood and a job wasn't always easy, but things got more complicated when she also has to deal with a fire and brimstone lunatic, six ponies with various issues, bizarre business regulations, and every bit of strangeness that Ponyville can throw at her. To top that, she has to deal with everypony else's relationship problems and is so busy that she can barely handle her own. Fortunately, they don't always need her help and sometimes manage to find their way on their own.

Rated T for language, discussions of the adult nature, implied sex, drug use, and gratuitous innuendo.
