The Cutie Mark Crusaders are the best of friends, but when life sets them on different paths, can their friendship survive? Will they find a way to bridge the growing gap between them?

While the Mane 6 are away on royal business, the three rambunctious fillies find their lives changing. They are growing up, and growing apart. Without the guidance of their older sisters, these fillies will have to find their own answers. Their single-minded focus on finding their cutie marks is no longer enough to build a friendship on.

This story will occur in three acts: Apple Bloom, Sweetie Belle, and Scootaloo. The main focus of the story will shift to
each filly in turn as the acts progress.

This story contains a romantic relationship, but will involve no more than mild reference to any mature content beyond what is roughly age-appropriate. This relationship, while integral to the plot, is not the focus of the piece, so don't be disappointed.

College, most see it as that time in your life that you struggle through to make the rest of your life easier, but what happens once you're out of it?

For some ponies, they have a job lined up, they move somewhere new, and go into a daily routine of just living life. Others seem to have life thrust upon them in ways they will never expect, but everypony is different right? Whoever said life get's boring once all the prep is done was wrong.

Follow the day to day misadventures of a group of ponies starting what some would call the prime of their lives, a time when anything can happen. From the day to day jobs, to meeting new friends, to maybe some romance, and of course the crazy adventures you come to expect from the town of Ponyville.

Yes, some say college is the way to prepare for your life, but many wise ponies will tell, as with many things...

"The end of one adventure is only the beginning of another."

I've spent the majority of my life tilling the desolate land in which I live. Every day, I wake up to move useless rocks from one location to another. This is an archaic line of work that my family has clung to for generations. It is a dull, grey existence.

My name is Pinkamena Diane Pie, and I'm not sure what to make of this situation.

Twilight is working on her greatest spell yet, maybe even the best spell known to all of ponykind, when Pinkie interrupts. Pinkie and Gummy get in the way of the spell, causing Gummy to turn into a pony. This causes problems for everyone involved. Most affected by this, of course, is Pinkie's very own Gummy Pie.

The Cutie Mark Crusaders decide to ask ponies around town where they got their cutie marks, specifically Rarity, who has perhaps the most profound, odd cutie mark of all. On their quest to figure out how a unicorn became a weatherpony, however, they encounter many of the other ponies who have odd tales of their own to share. How did Pinkie Pie join the Apple Family? How did Rainbow Dash become an animal caretaker? Why is Applejack a fashion designer? How did Twilight become Celestia’s student? What made Fluttershy decide to dedicate her life to bringing joy to others? And how did Rarity become a weatherpony, a role so outside a unicorn’s skillset? It may be that everything in Equestria is not kind and peaceful after all.

The challenge? Daunting. The reward? Worthy. Failure? Not an option. For Big Macintosh has accepted the bet, and thus begins A Ballad of Eeyup and Nope - in which he isn't allowed to say either.

Matt "MrBackpack" Mxxxxx has finally gotten his life on track; he's got a job that he loves, a good enough home, a beautiful fiance, and a dog. Little does he know that all of that hard work is about to be threatened by the presence of a very confused and very naked young woman appearing in his fudge-smelling Texas backyard.

It was another one of those days. You know the type... the kind where an omnipotent tomfool decides to invade your town and turn everything topsy-turvy. Rarity and her friends thought they would just have to break out the Elements of Harmony once again to take Discord down and bring back some normalcy. But when a shockwave of mysterious energy sends her to a world she's never known, twisting her perception of reality right down to her very body, she's going to need a lot more than some magic jewelry to bring any sense of normality back to her life.

It was another one of those days. You know the type... the kind where you have no obligations or responsibilities and the lack of things to do is just driving you insane with boredom. Will thought that he'd just spend another lazy day watching cartoons and playing video games and putting off getting a job some more. But when a mysterious girl with purple hair drops out of nowhere in front of his moving car, he's going to get a lot more than he bargained for when he learns that things previously thought to be fantasy may be more real than he ever imagined. And it's going to take a lot more than a trip to the psychiatrist's couch to bring any sense of normality back to his life.

Three girls. How did three girls manage to completely obliterate my understanding of the universe? Well, I guess I shouldn't call them girls (even though they look like they are), ponies would be the better description.

All I wanted was a nice breakfast and a chance to skip class. But the world decided to break on me instead, or maybe I broke it. I can't really make heads or tails of things anymore.

But what I do know is that I found three girls and they were scared. I can't believe I'm saying this, but I've got to help the Cutie Mark Crusaders get back home.
