A little story I used to put my headcanon about how time works between the main series and the Equestria Girls sub-series. It's a discussion of why Sunset is so young despite being older than Princess Twilight, as well as why timeliness don't always match up between the two.

Caramel decides to promote stallionism at a Wonderbolt performance. In retrospect, bringing Anon along for support may not have been the best idea.

Anon has been in Equestria for 5 years, working under Celestia as a Minister of Foreign Affairs. His tactics were seen as dishonest at best and unethical at worst. But when Celestia leaves suddenly, she names Anon as her temporary replacement to the throne. With internal bickering over whether Anon deserves this position and heightened tension with the Griffons, Anon must choose carefully. Will he become a tyrant or a fair king? And how far will he go to preserve Equestria?

A fully rewritten version of a greentext I wrote back in 2019. Could be a bit dated with tropes that I thought was good writing at the time, but I’m still proud of it.

For the Second Person tag you should note that sections from Anons POV are in first person, everyone else is in second person.

Romance tag is there because of a romance I included that I think was poorly handled, but half the story wouldn’t make sense if I just removed it so I had to keep it in.

Gore and Violence are self explanatory. It’s not there abundantly, but it is there.

Also don’t read the comments if you don’t want spoilers. Story discussion happens in them and that might ruin the reading experience.

When Princess Luna was subjected to the Elements of Harmony for the second time, she thought her troubles were over. When her sister forgave her and brought her to live in Canterlot, she thought she would finally be able to move on.

Months have passed since then, but her life has done nothing but stagnate. Worse, her old problems continue to haunt her. A voice lurks inside her thoughts, tormenting her with its vitriol and arrogance. It promises her a new beginning, but she has heard that lie before. She is done with Nightmare Moon.

Unfortunately, it isn't easy so easily removed. Luna wants to move on, to be her own pony once again, but the beast insists she can't do it alone.

She prays it is wrong.

All the princesses are drunk. Twilight just wanted to read. Now she's at a wedding alter with Chrysalis. What.

Memoirs of My War is written as a tribute to all veterans, but, as this Veterans Day marks the hundredth anniversary of the end of World War One, it is dedicated to the remembrance of those brave souls in particular. This story is a companion story to another military tribute of mine, Flowers of the Forest, but neither are required reading for the other. A brief overview of the "War's Generation" AU (which is canon for both) is provided here for context, but is not required for either.

This story is a sequel to Written By The Winners

Actually, it’s a prequel to ‘Written By The Winners’ but you get the idea. After trying to wrap her head around how Chrysalis coldly rejected her hoof in friendship even though she did the same thing Twilight did, Starlight discovered what Twilight had done to convince her to give up her power-hungry ways in exchange for friendship.

Needless to say, she is not happy about it. So unhappy, in fact, that she decided to tell another victim of Twilight's friendship-making method and they both want a word with her.

To find out more about the evil pony they were warned about, Izzy and Sunny seek out the legendary Princess Twilight Sparkle herself for answers. More specifically, how to find the evil pony and win her over to the side of good with the power of friendship.

They quickly realise that, contrary to what Twilight wrote in her Friendship Journals and what was depicted in Sunny’s favourite cartoon growing up, ‘Guardians of Harmony: The Power of Friendship’, some of Twilight’s foes that eventually became friends didn’t do so of their own accord.
