It's been over eight years for Phoenix Wright. Eight years since he was transported to the world of colourful ponies. Eight years since his showdown in the courtroom against Trixie over the fate of Rainbow Dash. Eight years since he was disbarred for submitting false evidence in a trial back in the human world. The last several years of investigation over the case that cost him his badge, and his subsequent return to the legal world has left his foray into Equestria as a faint memory, only the picture he keeps in his desk proving to him it wasn't a dream.

Coming off his most recent case, the ace attorney has decided to take a well deserved rest, but fate would have another plan for the lawyer, as once again his services, and those of The Wright Anything Agency, have been called to Equestria to solve the second murder in recent equine history. The stakes are higher than anyone, or anypony, could imagine, and if the defendant is found guilty, the repercussions could be disastrous. Day one of the trial is about to begin.

A/N: While planning out my other fics and getting back into writing, I finished watching Turnabout Storm and noticed that the resulting "sequel" fics are lacking or overwrought. Consider this a writing exercise and an attempt to do the series justice.

Eight years has passed since the famous Phoenix Wright, cleared the name of the Pegasus Pony Rainbow Dash After being forced into Equestria... and gained nothing but old evidence, an embarrassing picture, and less respect from his friends... so much for that new sports car. Nevertheless, A lot has happened in those eight years, and Phoenix has made new friends on the way.

||ON HIATUS||

The Multiverse. An immense and diverse place, home to countless Planes of existence, each a universe all their own. One organization tries its hardest to keep these Planes in line, and govern the nigh infinite souls that occupy them. But even with a galaxy's worth of agents and the power of the Prime Material Plane at their disposal, something occasionally slips their radar.

Sam is one of those things. An unassuming, twenty-something who one day finds himself stranded in another world. Luckily for him, the inhabitants of Equestria take friendship very seriously. The Elements of Harmony take it upon themselves to befriend and welcome him to Equestria. It certainly doesn't hurt that he's the first and only human ever seen on their planet.

However, all good things must come to an end. Equestria finds itself under attack, both by unknown creatures and beings similar to the country's newest inhabitant. Sam and the Elements must find a way to beat them back, but first they need to figure out who in the Nine Hells this new enemy is.

So begins my first HiE, let alone my first story to be published here. I hope it will be my longest piece to date (even if I never submitted most of my others). I have a long way to go before I can be a professional writer, but that's what this is all about, isn't it? Exercising our writing muscles in a place where some may find enjoyment in our attempts to improve ourselves. So please, lay into me. Tell me what I'm doing wrong, I implore you. It is the only way I will grow as a writer. And, if I can set aside my stubborn pride long enough to learn something, perhaps I will do just that.

Princess Luna sequestered herself away from pony contact so she could raise the sun and the moon by herself while Celestia was ill. Aon only knows Respect, the Law of his people, and how to kill. A born and bread warrior, now in a world of happiness and friendship. Aon goes from top level military asset to personal assistant and has to adapt to the simpler lifestyle. The story of a warrior from another world that is saved from an untimely death and his life debt to repay his savior. Will his thirst for blood consume him? Or will he have a change of heart?

Tristan may not seem like it, but he's a pretty serious guy. He may joke around a lot, but when push comes to shove, he isn't afraid to stand up for his friends. That's usually why people always invite him to their gaming parties... but when a portal opens up on his way to work and he's thrust into Equestria, where his gaming skills mean nothing, will he want to leave... or stay?
