What happened after the Diamond Princess?
Well, this what happened Twilighta sent three letters to the Crystal Empire, Canterlot, and Ponyvillie.

Oh boy, do the Equestrian Royalty and the Elements of Harmon have more than One pony to accept this time.

Princess Twilighta and Prince Sombra are engaged hoping that the other royalist and the elements can accept their commitment for the good of their ponies and the Diamond Realm itself.

An alternate ending to the evil ending to Kiss of the Dark by Soothing Stone. King Sombra survived the attack from princesses and fled his castle with the Queen of Shadows, his wife Twilight Sparkle. This is the story of how they rebuild their empire and overthrow Celestia and Luna.

Ten years after Twilight Sparkle became a princess Equestria is at the edge of a war. Many innocent ponies are killed in the most horrifying ways and the Elements and Princesses can't seem to find out who did it to the ponies. But when one of Equestrias most loyal and trusted turns against them and joins the dark side almost everyone loses hope.

Twilight's coronation was just recently, and nothing has gone wrong since. But alas, it could not last. King Sombra returns, and this time Equestria will not be rid of him so easily. Twilight finds herself in the caves beneath Canterlot, where she will learn secrets that are best left undiscovered.

King Sombra survived his defeat, but just. By the time he returned to form, Twilight became the newest princess of Equestria and the Crystal Empire was restored to its former glory.

He cannot take over Equestria the same way he tried before, but he has a card up his sleeve. Twilight won't see it coming, and Sombra might gain a powerful ally in the process.

And it will all begin...with a book.

King Sombra is still plenty rough around the edges, but despite being an old dog he's making an effort to learn new tricks. Where will this new way of life take him? He has absolutely no idea, but with his queen to guide him, what could possibly go wrong?

King Sombra, the former tyrant and conqueror of Crystal Kingdom, the wielder of dark magic, servants and slaves that he had at his mere call. One thousand years ago; he lost himself after the banishment by Celestia and Luna, set out to reclaim it but was stopped by Cadance, Shining Armor and Twilight along with other Element of Harmony.

Given the successful befriending of Discord, Princess Celestia deems that no longer will villains be defeated but instead reformed. While most have the chance to submit willingly or continue to fight, King Sombra is given little option. Brought back from the dead and stripped of all his powers and strength, it's all become a game of futility. Now Sombra only wishes he could have stayed dead all along.

Searching for any records King Sombra may have left behind, Twilight learned of the shadowy king's tragic past. However, she also discovered his horn, in which his mind and remaining power were contained. Determined to learn how to use his Dark Magic for Good, Twilight brought Sombra back to Ponyville with her. After all, what could he possibly do as a horn? ...Or will he stay that way?

Twilight had reached her peak, she was at the happiest point in her young life. The day of her coronation as Equestria's newest princess had finally arrived. Then the unthinkable happened, Sombra appears in the throne room alive and well demanding his chance to be reformed by pony society. The unthinkable happens again, when his wish is granted, spearheaded by none other than Princess Twilight herself. Will Sombra's nefarious plans bring her to ruin, or will she succeed against all odds? Only time can tell as it reminds them both that plans have a way of changing all on their own.
