"We were alone for over six thousand years. In that time, we nearly destroyed ourselves due to our own foolishness. We fought our own kind for some of the dumbest reasons, and as a result, we almost wiped ourselves out in World War III.

But praise the Almighty that we did not. Only a few hundred million survived the war, but that war finally convinced us to stop war forever. The planet was scarred, and it needed healing. There weren't enough of us to heal the planet in a timely manner, so Man did one of the most wonderful and terrible things possible: create new life. New sapient life. Gryphons, dragons and ponies. We created them to be our friends, but they became our enemies when we tried to fight again using them as weapons. They decided to destroy us, and we had made them too strong, so we did the only thing we could: we hid underground. Here, in the caverns that house the Republic of New Terra, we seek to ready ourselves to make amends for our sins against life and God after rejoining the surface world.

But that is a long time away. Humanity has a long way to go before we breach the surface. But New Terra will rise someday. Never forget that."

That phrase has been repeated on billions of lips in the secret underground caverns for years now. The time has almost arrived. Will the world be able to handle the return of the humans of old? Will the humans be destroyed for their sins against the world? Or will they be forgiven and be granted peace? Humanity can only hope and pray for the latter as the Day of Return fast approaches.

Long ago, the entire planet was dominated by a powerful, and cruel race known as humans. They enslaved all other beings on the planet, and consumed their flesh. These beings had strange powers. But one day, they simply disappeared, without a trace as to where they went.

Thousands of years later, ponies search the abandoned ruins of a human structure, and find something they never thought possible; a baby human.

We've all wondered what could happen if a pony from Equestria suddenly appeared in our house — but what if that pony turned out to be your own OC?

Seven authors collaborated to answer this very question.

He does not remember why he put it there, but he takes care of it. King Sombra, the Mane Six and the others have many adventures, meet new good guys and bad guys, make new friends and some may even find some love. But what is that Dragon Egg?

Garble is injured right before the Great Dragon Migration, and is rendered unable to fly back with his flock. Stranded, Garble is forced to accept the help of Spike to find a way to cope. He finds so much more.

Though this is a sequel to “My Scrappy Little Mutt,” it is not entirely necessary to read the prequel. Written as an entry to Weekly Contest #27: Finally Here.

That one sentence change the life of a young Timberwolf pup, later named Tabitha. When suddenly disowned by her Mama and the rest of her pack. Left to fend for herself, she wonders out of the Everfree Forest and finds a bush to curl up in outside of a small cottage where the shy little pony lives.

Can Tabitha, nicknamed Tabby, with the help of her now adopted loving mother Fluttershy, fit in with the other ponies and finally become what she wishes to be?

But there are problems along the way that she must face to achieve her life goals; like facing angry frightened ponies, her natural instincts, becoming a vegetarian and learning to speak their language.

Timberwolves need some love and happy endings! Right?

Foolish enough to wander into the Everfree forest alone, Fluttershy is saved from a Timberwolf attack by a strange bipedal alien. Injured she is taken to the creature's cave. With the help of his changeling friend the alien saves Fluttershy's life and tells her the story of Second Chances.

One night in the Everfree forest, a timid pegasus is cornered by one of the most feared creatures known to exist, a Timberwolf. But in the forest lies a dark power greater than Fluttershy could ever imagine. Powerful enough to even give a Timberwolf reason to fear.

Something has happened and Twilight finds herself in a strange and dark new world. The Bipeds here have strange magic, advanced technology, and a lot of problems. She needs a few friends, and they just might need her. WORM crossover. Deadpan29 has created some great supplementary material that is canon to the story.

Applejack is 200 years old, making her middle aged for the long lived earth ponies. Since her friend Twilight mysteriously vanished 160 years ago she's done her best to build a new life, working with Celestia's new students and the new Elements of Harmony to defend Equestria in the modern world... Now Twilight is back, and she has no clue what to do.

Making matters worse, a monster of a stallion named Slice is carving his way through the city of Ponyville, stealing dangerous magical artifacts. Can AJ lead her new team of heroes to victory with her old leader staring over her shoulder and reminding her of all she's lost?
