Now, with an open invitation to come to Equestria whenever she wants to visit, Sunset Shimmer decides to take advantage of a lazy three-day weekend to go through the portal.

With new surprises and new friends awaiting her in Equestria, and her friends back home wanting to know more about where their magical friend comes from, the portal between worlds is about to see a lot of activity...

Flash Sentry is having a very bad day. His band has quit on him, he gets roped into helping with things that take way longer than he can afford, the people he helps tend to kick him in the knee, he keeps running into people he'd rather not see for the rest of his life, and his mother is a pain in his ass. Oh, and his food keeps getting ruined.

With all of these problems and more raining down on him, it is understandable that he would get a bit ticked off. Thankfully, there is some good news. No matter how bad a day may get, eventually, it ends, and tomorrow will be a brand new day. Who knows? It could actually end up being the best day ever.

Takes place right after Every Little Thing She Does. For the purposes of this story, Mirror Magic takes place early Season Six.

While trying to deal with the guilt she feels after mind-controlling her friends, Starlight Glimmer accepts an invitation from Sunset Shimmer to spend the weekend with her in the human world. But while she's there, a magic device she created to warn her if her human counterpart is nearby goes off. Instead of leaving or staying away as she had initially planned though, she finds the idea of what her life could have been like in this different world, a life without the magic that constantly leads her down the wrong path too compelling to resist. Ignoring Twilight's warnings about maintaining the balance between the two worlds, she tracks down her human version instead.

So, I’ve gone ahead and marked this complete. I know that probably isn’t very satisfying, and I know people were waiting for the last chapter, but writing isn’t really something I can maintain in anything other than short creative bursts. If I can work up the creative burst to add a final bonus chapter, well, than this will get another update. If not, than it won’t.

Sonata has a tooth ache. Adagio and Aria don't want to deal with it. Sunset Shimmer gets involved. Applejack is there. It's gonna be one of those days.

Equestria...a land of magic and mystery. Connected to the human world through a magical portal outside of Canterlot High School. To some, it is home. To others, a strange, bizarre place of unknown rules and knowledge, just waiting to be discovered, codified, and understood.

And, to a few, a cool place to spend an afternoon.

The Crystal Prep Shadowbolts have come to visit Equestria, with the help of Discord. This SHOULD be a fantastic adventure in another universe, but given The Shadowbolt's track record, it's way more likely to be a snarky disaster than anything else. Hopefully, most of Equestria is still standing when they're done.

Starlight wasn't able to use her magic to help save her friends. It was a miracle, really, that she was even able to save Equestria with a shattered horn and a ragtag team of anti-heroes. The odds had been stacked against them.

Starlight struggled with not being able to use magic at all after an accident, so when she extended a hoof to Chrysalis in the hopes of reformation and it was rejected, her spirit was broken too. In a self-righteous show of pride, Starlight embarks on a journey of self healing and discovery that she hopes will help heal her body and mend her spirit.

Unfortunately, fourth-dimensional magic is probably going to break Starlight's mind more than it's going to heal it.
