Whenever somepony would ask, Derpy always said that Dinky was hers. Some would always question that, saying that she herself was too young to have a filly Dinky's age. But still, Derpy always said that Dinky was her's and no other ponies. But while the statement always was the truth. It hid a dark and terrible secret.
One that almost cost a baby filly her life, if not for a wall-eyed young mare.

Fluttershy thinks he might have ulterior motives, but Twilight's sure the lord of chaos is interested in nothing more than irritating his (least) favorite princess. Rainbow Dash, best pony, fastest flier in Equestria, all around awesome mare, was called upon to help with the wedding of her friend's big brother. And hey, she never leaves her friends hanging! Of course, when it turned out some kind of bug thing had replaced the bride, Rainbow was more then ready to fight. Heck, even after it seemed all hope was lost, the pegasus refused to give up.

So when she saw Shining Armor charge up a final spell, she smirked.

But when that spell reached her and flung her against the wall, her smirk devolved into shock...

Upon entering the town, he comes face-to-face with the most confusing group of dragons he's ever met: Pinkie Pie, the baker; Rainbow Dash, the stunt flyer; Applejack, the farmer; Rarity, the designer; Fluttershy, the animal enthusiast; Twilight Sparkle, the librarian; and Spike, the #1 assistant, who also happens to be a unicorn, a species most rare in this land.

Pinkie Pie has decided to mount an effort on making the legendary "Chimmicherrychanga" a reality, but when word spreads around town, suddenly everypony is interested in Pinkie's cherry-filled venture for one reason or another. Some see her new creation as a blessing, others wish to destroy it. Sacre bleu, mon cherry.

Rainbow Dash charges into Rarity's boutique and announces that she's going on a date. However, when questioned, Rainbow Dash refuses to reveal who her date is. Rarity suspects something is amiss and decides to secretly follow Dash. But what Rarity uncovers is so bizarre, she will never be able to look at her friend, or herself, the same way ever again.
