I've created a kind of portal to Equestria.
And, unfortunately, it's an extremely good simulation.
Variables upon variables upon variables, all created by one simple code with a fully compiled size of two kilobytes.
This means that consequences may occur that I wouldn't have thought of, and that there may also be glitches once in a while.
Unfortunately, it's the former that causes me to be trapped within this simulation. If it were the latter, it would be easier to work around: a simple executive override, and I'm out. But now, the only way to get out is to activate my extreme safety procedure.

Please note: I don't care about favorites or likes, I care about what you have to SAY. So, please,if you enjoy a chapter, say what you liked most, and if you did not enjoy a chapter, say what you did not like and I will use those two things to learn not to make the same mistakes in the future.

Also note: This story isn't meant to be taken seriously. A lot of it is just making fun of other stuff. Some of it is meant to be taken seriously in terms of its own individual plot, but as a whole, it's meant to be making fun of the idea that certain things could or could not exist.

Andrew was your ordinary, every-day, run-of-the-mill human. He had a boring job, nobody he could call a girlfriend, and basically, nothing to work with. One night, he comes home from yet another boring day of work and passes out in bed. Meanwhile, in the magical land of Equestria, Twilight Sparkle makes a wish upon a star. A wish to meet her soul mate. If only she knew what she was in for...

It's just an average day for you at the lettuce stand when you are greeted by Ponyville's resident mail mare. Though this normally wouldn't be out of the ordinary, she seems to be sporting some...strange gear.

ANYWAY, this is my Derpy story! Inspired almost SOLELY by a picture I saw. I'll put it in the author's notes of the actual story, as to avoid spoilers here.

I started writing this about a week ago, just before Christmas. Once I started, I challenged myself to finish it before the year ended. And what do ya know, I did! Didn't publish it before then, but still...I felt accomplished.

...Totally pointless information, but I thought I might as well share it.

Hey, everyone. OtterMatt here. Just for the record, I’m not coming back to FimFic. Not ever. I’m sorry to say it, but my life has moved on, as it were, and writing just isn’t a part of it anymore. That being said, I love these stories of mine very much. There’s a lot of myself that I put into them, and at least a couple people have told me that these stories meant a lot to them as well. You are Anonymous, you are fit, you are the only human in Equestria, and Rainbow is your best friend and workout buddy. For one reason or another, mares find you desirable, unnervingly so. For the longest time, your best bro, Rainbow Dash, has protected you from their advances. One day however, things you have been noticing for a while begin to start piling up; her blushing, the way her wings tend to stiffen around you...it couldn't be, could it?

It has been close to a year since the multiverse decided that it was time for you to have a change of scenery. Living with the Apple family and working on their farm, you have carved out a surprisingly fulfilling life for yourself in this alien world. Yet, there is still something that you yearn for...something near...something so close yet just out of reach. When Twilight Sparkle decides to try a new spell she has perfected, she successfully pulls a being from another universe into Equestria. That being coincidentally is a human...that human coincidentally is you. What at first just seems like an opportunity for first contact between two species soon becomes something much more when certain truths are brought to light...and everything you knew about your life is flipped onto its head.

NOTE: At times in this story, the main character's thought process will be shown as an inner monologue with his brain. BRAIN's dialogue will appear in this color of text.

Rainbow Dash comes out to her friends in a desperate attempt to find support as she flounders under the guilt of her sexual identity... but are the bonds of her friendship with the others really as strong as she hopes they are? Not an über-OOC or lynch mob fic.

Derpy loves her daughter more than life itself. She always looks forward to when her little filly will come home with a wide smile across her face, but what can she do when there is no smile? What can she say when the young pony's bright eyes are blackened and bruised? Sometimes, a mother's wings are all she can offer; sometimes, that's not enough.
