Hoping that finding a special somepony will help Starlight Glimmer feel more included, Princess Twilight Sparkle and her friends encourage her to start dating.
The whole situation means that Spike becomes an advice guru, Pinkie Pie becomes a spy, Twilight becomes an overprotective friend... And Starlight has to deal with it all!

Spike has been spending a lot of time with Flitter, a local pony in town who is (at best) an acquaintance of the Mane 6. Rarity sees this and launches straight into action, enlisting Twilight Sparkle's aid in getting to the bottom of Flitter's intentions with her dear Spikey-Wikey.

During the course of a sleepover at Ponyville Castle, it is revealed that neither Twilight nor any of her friends have ever kissed a stallion. Things quickly get competitive, and soon Spike, the only male within striking distance, is forced to run for his life.

It was supposed to be a peaceful night of research in the Canterlot archives for Spike. However, a drunk pony sees that it is anything but relaxing.

Will Spike wrangle her in before the castle is destroyed? How'd she end up in the castle in the first place? Will Celestia wake up and deliver the wrath of a poor night's sleep upon them? Is there anything deeper going on behind the scenes?!

The answers to all those questions may or may not be answered in the story.

Synopsis

Greed strengthens a dragon. But what of the opposite? Spike feels a little bit of himself broken away with each passing day as Rarity flaunts her newfound love with another stallion. With the relationship between the Council of Friendship and the nobles of Equestria at stake, he is certain this gala could only end in a big political disaster. Enter Princess Luna, cunningly disguised as the sweet elegant mare by his side, intent on turning him from a laughingstock into the star of the show. But jealousy and misfortune swiftly strike, leaving Luna permanently stuck in her disguise. Together they must maintain their cover until they somehow figure out how to fix everything. As the days pass, as the 'one more day's turn into a week, they slowly come to a startling realization - Perhaps there is nothing to fix?

Princess Luna falls from the sky to prevent a dragon from returning home. Before their impending battle, the two go for a walk, discovering more than one set path to their destination.

Due to her reckless antics and tomboyish behavior, Rainbow Dash has generally been thought of as one that had no real interest in the matters of love and dating. However, she gets challenged by Spike one day when he tells his friends that he would never be able to fall in love with her. Given Rainbow's competitive nature, a new challenge between the two of them begins.

She tries to steal Spike's heart and if he falls in love, he loses!

Between awkward dates, friendly interference, a jealous Rarity, an over-protective Twilight and a betting pool stretching all across Equestria, who knows what ending awaits them!

Twilight has been summoned to Canterlot for important training as a princess, but she is unable to bring Spike along. Unfortunately, her closest friends are unable to watch him, so she turns to her newest friend Trixie.
